    Hearing but not hearing

I have been losing hearing due to age and genetics. I still score as hearing on the free online hearing tests, but I am having more and more difficulty socializing with the signing-impaired. Wondering if there are hearing aids for the mostly hearing?

    WRONG! vs. MISHAP!

My ASL teacher says there is a difference between signing WRONG (not as the opposite of right, but to indicate an unexpected occurrence) and WRONG signed with a twist, also to indicate an unexpected occurrence. Signing whilst singing

I love performers who sign (e.g., Sean Forbes, TL Forsberg) but I know that some Deaf people don't understand them because it's not ASL. Is it possible to sign in pure ASL whilst singing? I am told that it is difficult or impossible to sign ASL whilst speaking English. But for a song that one...

I'm doing a presentation on Deaf music/musicians and my instructor thought it would be interesting to include the other side - the view that music is a product of a hearing society, one that has long discriminated against Deaf people. I'm looking for any references to audism and music - news...
