Let's keep international travels in this AD equation. Take it easy on us poor non-US residents. LOL St Louis can easily cost me over 1 grand if one looks at flight, meals, hotel, etc etc. Thats just for one person, and I do want to bring my husband. If I could get a nice, nice discount out of this St Louis trip.. I would consider it though I'd prefer NYC.

I also need to travel across Norway to fly out from the eastern coast (Oslo) instead of the western coast where I live in. Blah! I would like to stick to the major cities because it's cheaper for international travellers.

International travellers are gonna sarcifice alot for this, you know. A little consideration for that would be appreciated. ;) There's no point in spending hundreds and thousands and traveling thousands of miles for a reunion that will probably only last a day.

Other cities suggestions:

Boston, MA
Washington, DC
Orlando, Florida
Probably more!

Doing this in 2007 would give us more time to do a wonderful gathering. Plan, save up monies and all. :) Gives me more room to breathe easily.

Holy smokey!!!... :eek2:

I am planning on having my ex husband keep the children if we do go, that way I can chat with everyone there...I don't think I can afford all of us to go either...

Maybe find a babysitter so you can have your freedom for the whole weekend?..just an idea ;)

btw, we also have 6 children alltogether too but Roadrunner's children lives with their mother..

I would prefer you bring your children to meet my children. It´s mixed feeling for me to fly to strange country alone, that´s why I rather to bring my family with me.

Yes, I has to agree with you.

I would rather to wait until 2007.

We would love to go
Florida
New York
Washington, DC
Los Angelos
San Franciso

St. Louis is not popular to Europe. I will learn more about St. Louis through DreamDeaf´s link.

Let me know what you find out! ;) Germany is not too far from Norway, right?
I wonder how we would communicate if we know different sign languages. Probably can resort to International Signs. I know ASL and NSL. Not German, sorry :( I think Kuifje might know German SL, though.

LOL,

I communicate with people with body gesture when we dont understand each other with our different sign languages.
I know British, American, Korean and German Sign languages, not norway. I would love to learn from you with NSL if I meet you one day. I do learn from Swedish deaf group at long time ago but I cant remember it anymore. Their languages is hard to understand but we understand each other through body gesture with no compliment.

I learn ASL from Canadians between 1975 and 1978.
I learn ASL and KSL from US Solider and his deaf korean wife in 1986 to 1989, they received US visitors, that´s how I learn ASL. It´s long time ago. I beleive that it would fresh my memory when I see anyone with ASL.

We also meet Ilatian, too. I learn bit from them.

Liebling -- YES DC does have museums in the area what is called "The Mall" (confusing for many i know) but i gotta advise u there is VERY high security -- if u want to see the WHITE HOUSE u gotta ask permission via ur embassy (or US Congressmen/women if US citizen) so that way they would be able to do some background check on anyone who wants tickets to visit the famous address at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue -- ive not been there myself  to me its just a hassle having to go via my representative *shrugs*

Museums there in DC: Museum of Natural History, American History, Hauloucaust (spelling qq) Museum, Vietnam Vet Memorial, WW2 Memorial, Smithsonian, Washington Monument, US Capitol, White House as previously mentioned, Archives bldg (where the origional Declaration of Independence is on display at) and etc

points of interests: House where Lincoln died across the street from the Ford's Theater (the Hard Rock Cafe is incidentally right next door to the Ford's Theater in DC), Gallaudet ofc  , George Washington's home outside DC in Virginia across from the Potomac River, Arlington National Cementary (VA) and other locations

LOL Horny? Umm yes and no.. just easy to get pregnant even I use safe sex.. but not the last two ( :giggle: )..
Anyways.. yes, its true that Minnesota have alot of things to do even we the minnesotans think not! LOL

there are many things to go.
Lakes- Picinics- Cook out..
Mall of America... meet one of bar/resturant for together. (its great place because parkings and easy to find.. its all there at once) :D and for the family they have amusement park/rides INside MOA..
ValleyFair (similar to Six Flags)
Minnesota Zoo.. (For family)
Taste of Minnesota (for 4th of July weekend)
State Fair (two weeks before Labor weekend)..
Tubing on Apple River (45 min drive to Wisconsin)
Wisconsin Dells (1 hr and 45 min to Wisconsin).. (Scuba-correct me about time average?)

Or.. we can cook out one of those fablous park..

2007 is 2 years away and I think 2006 is fine, That gives us plenty of times to save up. DreamDeaf wouldn't have brought up that thread if she thinks we need more time, But I think 2006 is perfect.

And the rest who are out of United States could pair up with someone as roommates like we are doing. That would also save money too.;)
