Yes, I thought about Liza. I love to meet her. I hope she read our posts and make suggestion etc.

PurpleRose is not live in Australia anymore but in CA now.

Magastu, PurpleRose also live in CA, too. She´s member here. Why cant you PM her about ride together to St. Louis? It´s just suggestion.
 
It will depend on what I'll be doing at the time when the AD Caucus comes up. Can't really predict what will be happening in my life a year from now. ;) Closer to it, THEN I'll start considering it.

I'm thinking, some flight search sites only allow a list of available flights for this year, not next year... perhaps Liebling and I can wait until this December to consider our flight options within our budgets.

Liebling, you have mentioned wanting to visit more of USA longer-- the big cities. Why not fly into Washington DC or NYC, and play tourists? Then rent a van for the family to drive up to St Louis? That way you see more of USA and it could save you money on the flights for the whole family. Maybe you can make agreements with other AD members (whom you can trust) who live on the eastern coast in any of these big cities to go on the road trip with.

They can help point out fun places on the road to the big AD gathering. I don't think it's such a bad idea myself either. I'll probably rent a car or borrow my dad's van in MD and make the drive with my husband. You're welcome to join if I am able to make it. We can split on the gas prices, which will be really cheap compared to our own gas prices in our countries. ;) I just need to talk with my husband about the plans next year. He will also have a say in it, which I will also respect. He might feel funny about going to an AD gathering, not being a member here or not knowing any of you. LOL

You can look at flights going to DCA (wash dc) or BWI (Baltimore, MD).. or IAD (Dulles).
 
Would take half a day of driving (apprx. 12 hrs) from MD/DC to St Louis, MO- FYI, without long stops. :)

Liebling- if I don't go, you can find cheap car rental/hire places in small towns.. avoid the big city type. Take your time exploring USA! 2 weeks.. good time. :)
 
Our cars are over 15 years old. ???? If one of 2 cars are died then we have to consider to buy the car first. If not, then go USA.

Yes, I'm agree. The new fly prices offer will come in November 2005 for January to April 2006 and other new fly prices offer will come between February and March for May to October 2006.

Liza, your suggestion sounds good but expensive because of family budget ***money*** when we travel from western to eastern as tourist.

Blondie twinnies, I talked to my hubby about this. We agreed that it's rather early to start our plan since this is January 2005. We wait until Summer to December then we will talk about this again. I will never forget your lovely offer to us. I know we will... definitely.........

Leave it until we will talk about this again in Summer to Winter time.
