Wal-mart

I never go wal-mart that much I prefer target anyways cuz I grew up with target since 1989 or 1990 (it was Gemco before changed to target) heh.. :D

I don't like Wal-Mart stores, but I like Wal-Mart's stand-alone grocery stores - they look much nicer than the typical Wal-Mart stores. I've been to its stand-alone grocery stores in Birmingham (Center Point) and Memphis (Germantown).

I hate wal-mart, atlas I call it Wal-Fart..it is only store we have in our town so I shop there. It is cheaper and affordable to spend compared to high cost living where I am living right now.

It is agreeable for poverty farmers out there who can not afford Kohls or Macy's.. Wal Mart is budget wise. No complaints.

wal marts cut older trees off and damages enviroments a lot for the buildings' sake that makes me sick. i wish they can replace old buildings for new ones. such like Publix which is a grocery store only. publix looks for old building and can makeover the new ones. Wal marts doesn't do like that. they just bulldoze the trees and natures instead of bulldozing the buildings. what more is that i am sick to hear that Walmart does say that they contribute money to perserve the lands as well. but they dont care about older trees, lands and animals for their own buildings.

my positive thought is walmart hires more people for the jobs which is wonderful.

This is weird.

Everyone seems to "hate" Wal-mart, but for some reason Wal-mart builds more stores and increases their sales and profits. So someone (actually many someones) must be shopping at Wal-mart. It appears there are many "closet" Wal-mart shoppers out there who just don't want to admit that they actually shop there. :)

Some of you probably don't know that Warren Buffett, one of richest man in the world frequents Wal-Mart stores. He still lives in the house he bought many, many years ago and don't even live in a mansion or drive fancy cars. He saves money on many things. So, rich people shop at Wal-Mart to save some money.

Everything at Wal-Mart aren't cheaper. You have to read the newspapers or go to other stores to compare prices IF you want to save some money.

I used to love Wal-Mart - my friend is addicted to it. I love Meijer instead. Wal-Mart sucks, but the prices are good. I prefer to stick to Meijer and Target. You're right about Target shoppers being snobs (I'm not a snob though!) - where I live right now, it is full of rich people and when I go to the Target here, MAN ARE THEY SNOBBY AND STUCK UP!

"wal-mart" "wal-mart" as regluar store.. as long you can buy anything bargin the price anything you want... but just life goes on...

I like wal-mart because cheaper bargin the price for children clothes and other stuff.. I have few things stuff hasn't break since we are useful... reasonable price.. I check another store expensive stuff.. whoa extactly what I have.. Oh my my... shame store expensive to sell that stuff... wal-mart sell reasonable price... sounded good.

Just for your needed living decent suitable for your budget preferences.. be wise your budget...

I don't. I am a person who tend to practice what I preach. I even refused to touch anywhere within 1,000 feet of Wal-Mart area. I'd love to discuss about your comment "Wal-mart builds more stores and increases their sales and profits" and "'closet' Wal-mart shoppers", but I decided to not since it is political issues. Not now anyway.

Pray tell, why should I support the Corporation that enforce the child labors, no environment laws, incredibly low wages ($0.75, no that is not typo. It is seventy-five cents per hour) in third-world countries, list go on and on? I am a person with morals, conscience and pro-small business attitude.

Does anyone know that Wal-Mart have higher numbers of sues & lawsuits than any chain-stores in America? Does anyone know that bit more than 1.5 million of female workers/former workers applied for lawsuit against Wal-Mart (link)? Boy, this year will be lovely year for me. Women can be better fighters than men in some case. You go, women!

Edit: In fact, I am glad that I live in California where there are plenty different kind of stores where I can buy... I used to live in Vermont for one and half year, and there is only one store, Wal-Mart in my local. That's one of reasons why I moved out. Actually if I am hearing, I will stay in Vermont but moved to different place.

I am one of those people who shops at WalMart sometimes because it's cheaper. :) I wish we have a "Costco" here...because they have a lot of "bulk" products that can save money in the long run.

I don't know... everywhere I go, I see Wal Mart.
I don't know other state with the most Wal Mart.

I alway go to Wal-mart all the time. I like Wal-mart. There is only one store Wal-mart in my local. There is no Mall in my local. I live in a small town. :)

I don't care what store is it, as long I get the cheapest deal for the same brand I want. If it's cheaper at wal-mart, I'd go for it.

I shop at Wal-mart, Kmart, Target, and military exchanges. I also shop at Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Linens & Things when I have a coupon.

ah, i noticed myself never gone Target, shopko, Kmart for long.. most to WM, sometimes Fred Meyer and at Mall, Sears, JCPenney(studio portrait I like there) and Macy's former BonMarche cuz my favorite perfume only there no where else, Estee Lauder, I wish there is at WM and cheaper price, oh well
