If we had a president that was a woman, would her husband be the first man? :dunno:

Haha, I guess...I don't think her husband will be that thriller, I dunno

This is possible... But I think they'd be addressed as "First Gentleman."

Yeah, you're right Brian since they do call it ' First Lady '....

haha Flyfree, you nasty girl !

 if hillary clinton win.. then bill clinton will be called both "ex-president and first gentleman"

I don't know about USA's, ex-prime minister Margaret Thatcher's husband is nothing, he is better know as his christian name, after her retirement she received a title.

If Condi Rice is elected President, she is not married, so that won't be a problem. :)

that would make sense so in that case in the USA the husband shouldnt get a title! the hubby can go off doing his civil service like the first ladies has historically been doing but have no title

Well i think if a woman was elected, her husband would probably be called Mr. ----. You know, an honorfic.

If he were an ex president, he would still be called Mr. President, no matter.

Good question, Magatsu! I never thought of that one. If a woman was elect to be a President , what about the husband is going to be called.. umm, The question, of course, is What is it, this role? There has never been a “job description” for the position; it was not written into the Constitution. So, really I dunno what they would call for the husband.

Ahh, you may be right about that. "First Gentleman" does sound about right.
