God Issue

Hey Everyone,

I am extreemly apologized that I didnt give out scriptures yet. Two reasons: My internet kept disconnected bec of this stupid company ~ COX...secondly, Ive been sick this week.

Pls be bear with me...I havent forgotten and I mark my word that I will share asap.

People (bi, lesbian, gay and transexual) have freedom to have right not about god issues thats their deision, their life and respect them too. You can't Discrimination on people and depend on people believe in god or not.
 
I believe in god. I was a young lady to go to the christian church but right now I am not going to the church much.

Why is expressing my love for someone evil? Hetrosexual folks do a lot of the same things that we gay folks do, and yet nobody is knocking on their doors, saying that they are comitting sins or going to hell.

Yes that is very true. I also preach the straight people that have lots of sex like gay people, too.

I don't eat excretement for sexual pleasure, I don't kill or injuire small kittens or children when I tell my signifcent others that their love is a wonderful gift...
I don't use an iron madien, I don't molest kids....I simply show (through physical actions) that my love for my significent others is the best thing in the world. God gave me those feelings, and He gave me the instinct to perform those physcial acts...Before I fell in love with Maureen, I had NO CLUE what girls did in bed together!

Crazymanwoot...what's a pragmatic church and how does it differ from the types of churches you attend? You'd probaly be surprised...even now there are religious support groups who are agitating for change in even the most conservative of churches. Please stop jugding us....Your words are doing a great deal of harm.

Pragmatic churches is not a church anyway. They just give the lie information and explains with half-true and half-lie from the bible to anyone just to earn their money and build the pastor's ego.

The true church is always following the Bible as best as they can. They have to show the wrath from God and love at same time. I do get scared from listening to my pastor on Sundays with his preaching from God's words. It helps me to repents the sin and focus on God. The church cannot soften to suit for us and the church must follow the Bible and the Bible's standard. That's mean no gay or gay marriages, etc. My church is a very directly messages with wraths and love. That helps me understand the Bible and his kingdom really much.

I am talking here just like my pastors and church do. Of course not excalty same but I am trying my best to be same as them. I lack with knowledge with entry bible but my church do know more than I do. They have better resource than I do. I am only 5 years christian and a year with that church.

The pragmatic churches really don't want to show the absolute truth from the bible because they knew the audience will dislike the church because they think they are right differently from the Bible's standard. Therefore the Church adjust their church to suits with the audience's mind with their standard. Therefore the audience will countine going to that church because the audience and the church are on the same page. It is like the Church under controlled by the people.

The truly church is the church that controls the people's life. It is huge different between two churches.

There's a book out there written by a mom who thought exactly like you do. She was all "being gay is evil...homosexuality is evil!" and kept harping after her son...until he finally killed himself. Many homeless teens, many suicdes are the direct result of attitudes and thinking like yours.

Maybe that mom forgot to show the love to his son. If she didn't show the love to his son and the suicdes made sense.

Even I went through that, and I live in a very libral family! Matter of fact, I still am trying to deal with it every single day!

I have just one question...How would YOU feel if one day you met someone who was nice, awesome, sweet, funny and kind...how would YOU feel if you fell in love with a man? Go talk to someone who's dealt with that!! Maybe you'll understand!

Simple learn the line with the love and control it. People with no control and they will fall in the sin and become the gay people. The control is a very useful tool for your personal safety. It is excatly same as when you see a hot girl on the street but you control yourself to not go and rape her. You had the control to control your sexual desire and thats applies with the men. Now you knew the laws will mess your life up after you raping some women. It applies with the GOD's wrath messages to the Christian and we Christains don't really want to experience his wraths so we repent the sins.

God does answer prayers. He answers with either, yes or no, or wait. The key to expecting God to answer your prayer is to believe that he does. If you don't believe, then, you're right. You won't received what you ask God for. It's all goes back to how much faith you have, and nothing else.

Well GOD never answers my prayers like i wanna hear again.I wanna be married. I wanna be a millionare and i he never allows it. I even ask him allow me to date my friend laura and allow it to happen again it was denied.See GOD never answers real prayers what involves in real life.

It's hard to explain crazymanwoot,
but the feelings I had for Jocelyn were totally different from the ones I had for Nattie or OB....I love them both and I love them DEARLY, but in different ways.
I don't lust after every single hot girl out there....as a matter of fact, I don't like girls in terms of sexuality. If the people I loved were males, then I would love them just as much. I'm attracted to people, not to bits of flesh!

But I don't have a lot of mindless sex. I have always had sex in the context of a relationship. I believe that sex is a sacred wonderful thing, and is only right in the context of a long term relationship. There are GLBs who are irresponsible sexually, but there are tons of straight people who are that way as well.....

I am a girl....before I met Maureen I had no idear how girls made love...it freaked the shit out of me that I was attracted to a girl....had always thought I was a hetro lady....and my point was that my love for my girlfriends is not hurting anyone. Yes, I feel guilty about it...I still wish I was hetro, but a lot of that is society's influence!
Crazymanwoot, you are judging those churches. NOBODY can know the mind of God...I don't claim to either but, I do feel that the love I have for my girlfriends is not evil. God is love....God does not judge.

Have you ever thought about anyone else? If you did, you'd see that being deaf wasn't all that bad. There are worst things in life.

But, you've heard this before. I'm merely increasing my chances of developing Carpal Tunnel by typing this, but what the hell? It's in the middle of the night, and I can't sleep. I've gotta do something with all this time on my hands...

:( sorry this got out of hand... i didn't realize it was the other person's (X10oT) thread instead of you know WHO... sheesh.. THAT PERSON keeps bringing up GOD/DEAFNESS ... and it is getting annoying and tiresome.... LET ALONE OFFTOPIC... so my apologies :bowdown:

To anyone in general:

Letting the Mods, myself deal with problematic members would serve better in the interests for AD, instead of having members jumping on a bandwagon and bashing/insulting, name-calling, it would make our duties easier. I can fathom how annoying some posts can be, but the best thing any member can do is to simply ignore those posts and do the best not to reply to those posts....

Well, God has a reason why he not answered ur prayers. U said "wanna, wanna, wanna" than say "need this and that".

Maybe God has a reason why he not answered ur prayer cuz of ur bitterness due to ur loss hearing etc and blame on God.

Look at the Bible, Psalms 66:18

"If I regard (keep or hold) iniquity (sin) in my heart, the Lord will not hear me".

Heavenly Father will answer humble and sincere prayers if the request is related to spiritual growth, becoming a better servant, turning more toward Him, serves Him, brings more spiritual happiness to oneself and to others, or that the request is in the best interests of the Lord in general.

If the request is not for or about spiritual progress and improvement, but asking for money or material things or interests that may do harm to oneself, then the answer likely will be "no". Usually the answer "no" is either silent or nothing happening during the day or few days, weeks, months following the time the question was asked.

Sometimes if the question was good and in the Lord's approval, it may take a long period of time or it may be soon and patience is usually required for the time being.

It all depends, but the Lord is not the one to blame but ourselves for either not understanding, or listening, or for having done a wrong we may not even be aware of. If this is the case, we (individually) need to repent. What is so hard about repenting? In case somebody wishes to know how to repent, simply go in your own bedroom and close the door behind you, kneel and address Heavenly Father (properly) 1. Thank Him for all He has done (etc. in thanksgiving) 2. In your own humility and words express your apology (I am sorry) for (whatever wrong done or for all wrongs) 3. Ask for His wisdom, guidance and Holy Spirit to be with you and whatever else that is good or right you may ask. 4. Close your prayer properly.

When you do this, this action shows you have faith. Remember, just like in a weight room the first time, a body builder needs to start light, then over time slowly build strength. Same with faith. Take care and God bless! :ily:
