Growing up, I dreamt of being an author.

Guess it finally came true today. I just won 2004 National Assisted Living Essay Contest's Author Award.

My story will be one of 25 stories published this April in a book that will be given to over 40,000 assisted living facilities. Over 300 stories were submitted for the contest.

Looks like I ought to keep writing ;)

 Congratulation!!

Let me know what and which book so I can buy and read :P

Thanks guys! :ty: :ty: :ty:

This week, I was in major despair about whether I was really making a difference at my work or not. I had a nervous breakdown.

This came in when I just needed that nudge to remind me that I am contributing afterall. I guess I am too hard on myself because I truly want to change the society but it takes one person or day at a time.

Wow, Meg, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Lol, you beat me to it this time, but I will get my project done!
Where can we read your work?
