AllDeaf is Moving!

That's right, folks, AD is moving to a brand new DELL Dual Xeon dedicated server within the next 48 hours!

If you have images and/or other files hosted under AllDeaf, including sub-domains (e.g. http://sub.alldeaf.com), please do a backup now. No scripts allowed on sub-domains, please.

When you notice AD experiencing downtime, you'll know we're moving to the brand new dedicated server. Please feel free to let your friends/ADers know about the move so they are not left clueless when they get the message "Page Not Found" when visiting AD.

Funnybebe: No. After the move, it will not be necessary to re-register. Database will not be affected, so don't worry about it.

Nah, it's not a stupid question, I'm sure some people didn't know what's Dual Xeon. AllDeaf will be always remain but with the Dual Xeon, AllDeaf will be on top speed at 2 GHz.

I just realized that the move has also made my posts from last night disappear...

What I think happened...during last night..I made posts on the old server (stored into the mysql databases)...then this morning when I returned...I started using the new server..and when I viewed new threads since my last visit..it brought up all the threads since yesteray morning...and I made some similar posts..and went..."Wtf....did I just travel into the past and am making the same posts that somehow is familiar to myself....have I been here before?"

Now I got it figured out...lol...thought I should share.
