I got in a pretty nasty car wreck on the August 26th, but I'm ok thank God - my car isn't though (& neither is my left hearing aid). I broke my nose & my left arm & I have a quite few nasty bruises here & there, but I'm doing good. :D

I worked at Zumiez (a clothing store) & I am so happy to finally quit. Working there was such a nightmare, I'd come home everyday with a headache. All they did was play loud music, so when the customers tried to talk to me I could never understand them & it was really dark in the store too, so...

Thank you for all the help & info. I'll check out the Vibrant Soundbridge, but I really don't want to have to get anything that extreme. I guess I'll just stick with regular HA =)

I've been meeting with the TOD since the 6th grade. I have this open house thing tomorrow so I'm going to see how things go there, hopefully no one will even notice. No, I'm not one of those kids....that's why I'm worried. Thanks for all the help. =)

Oh ok, it seems that the Bicros aren't all that great. I guess I'll have to look into a different solution.

I already wear hearing aids in both ears though, so I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be a problem.

I just got BTE hearing aids over the summer & I am just not ready to go to school with them, for the past 2 years I went to school with 1 CIC in my right & no one saw or knew about it, but it's not powerful enough anymore. I am the only one in my class with hearing aids & I will be flooded...

I've been reading about them & I thought they might be a good idea (if they are still even used today). I have moderate loss in my right & a severe loss in my left. I can hear ok in my right, but in my left I can hear nothing & it's really hard to have conversations when I'm sitting at a table...

That's funny, I didn't know you could get cancer from just one cigarette. I only "stress smoke"...but I've been stressed 24/7 for the past year. But whatever I don't want to live to be 100. I plan on dying peacfully when I'm 70.
