7 polices hurt in Baltimore riots

the logic dictates that if he was arrested for selling crack (which you claim)... surely.... the police must found crack on him and bagged it for evidence, no? so where is it? where did you get the part that he was arrested for selling crack?

His arrest record.

was he ever convicted of "running"?

hahahaha

ah so you're saying in this case.. on April 12, 2015... he was arrested for selling crack and crack was found on him?

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The state fire marshal’s office have charged a 22-year-old man for cutting a firefighter hose during the Baltimore riots Monday.

According to the fire marshal, Greg Bailey was identified as the man who “intentionally damaging a charged water supply fire hose” when firefighters were battling the blaze at the CVS at North and Pennsylvania avenues.

Fire marshals says once the hose was punctured it immediately dropped the water pressure and endangered the lives of fire personnel. The firefighters then had to use a second hose.

Marshals said Bailey was already detained at the Baltimore City Detention Center on unrelated charges.
His arrest warrant was served while he was waiting for a on a bond review.

Bailey was charged with obstructing firefighting operations, malicious destruction of property and reckless endangerment.

Marshals credit social media for helping assist investigators in this case.

Well, I haven't read the recent arrest record, but the toxicology reports indicated he had crack IN him.

The state attorney announced that there was no reason for the arrest.

BTW, via CNN the witnesses saw cops holding his legs onto his back while he laid down handcuffed on the ground until the backup came and he screamed "you are hurting my neck" AND he requested medical attention which cops ignored. I believe that's when his spinal cord injury happened. Obviously they are bad cops.

Baltimore mayor announced that she told any bad cops who think they are above the law to leave their jobs in the city of Baltimore.

If the announcement had been different than it was yesterday, for sure there would have been riots. I just hope Mosly made her decision based on facts not on pressure or fear. However, it is a fact that black people here in MD have been targeted by cops. My husband and some of my friends have been victims of it so I have seen it and I believe it.

That was no excuse to denied Gray medial attention and the arrest is said to had been illegal according to the state attorney .

I am thinking she made this decision partly to stop people from rioting , it was said by a couple of people that is hard to find polices guilty of a crime . The
state attorney has to know this too as she has a long line of family members that were polices. So if the 6 polices are able to walk away with only a slap on their wrists there will be worst riots breaking out. I hope there will be some kind of justice this time or all HELL will break out. I had posted that Boston cops messed with my Black b/f and me a few times so I know this happen .

If more riots, it will definitely disrupt my life. It was more than enough this week with being stressed out about going to and from work not knowing how things will go each day.

Welcome to police state, this is what it really is when government giving police too much power for too long. UNTIL government changes back to "We, the People" riots will continue and it will grow bigger, and bigger.

Its time for us to tell Uncle Sam tone down on power trip, otherwise expect more events like in Baltimore in anywhere in USA, who knows where is next, it could be at your neighborhood if nothing is done

I hope there will be no more riots , but I just hate to think what will happen if these 6 polices are found 'not guilty ' on any counts . I can only imagine how horrible is has been for you and everyone living in Baltimore.
Something has to be done to stop this police brutality and to get both side
to thrust one another and that sure aren't about to happen the way things
are going. We should spend more money of fixing up inner cites and building new schools for our kids instead of doing this in other countries. Obama should doing for the Black communities instead of giving lips service !
Be safe and I hope you're out of harm way.

Someone was telling me that, of the six police officers arrested, half of them are black.......makes me wonder....

I have heard a theory but I don't know how much credibility to apply because it was made by an anonymous Baltimore police officer. He said that it's possible that Gray swallowed the drug evidence during the chase. I guess the toxicology report will answer that. :dunno:

But the charge is that the fatal injury happened in the van, not on the street.

I don't know if the "bad" cops are doing that but I have heard that many of the Baltimore police want out because they feel their commissioner and mayor don't have their backs; that is, they don't support the police.

So sad when will we know enough violence is enough

That is a concern. Some people say that she shouldn't have prefaced her decision with the statement that she heard the people's cries for "no justice, no peace." That made it seem like she was giving in to public pressure rather than examining all evidence.

However, it is a fact that black people here in MD have been targeted by cops. My husband and some of my friends have been victims of it so I have seen it and I believe it.
Why do you think that is when Baltimore has almost all black leadership in the city (Mayor, City Council members, Police Commissioner and chiefs, Prosecutor), and 43% black officers? (I don't know about the rest of the state; maybe that's different.)

In the Gray case, it was three black and three white officers who were charged, which is pretty close to the racial makeup of their force.

The police should have checked him more closely for medical issues. One officer said that sometimes they don't because almost everyone they take into custody screams that they're hurt and need to go to the hospital. He said many of them do that to avoid going to jail by going to the hospital instead. He also said that Gray was know on the streets to be "dramatic" during interactions. :dunno:

I expect a lot more facts, pro and con, will be coming out during the trial/s. (I don't know if the six will be tried together or separately.)

I think it would had been very easy to see that Gray was not pretending to be 'hurting' in this case . I am not about to take the words of the police at this point. I feel they're going to say anything to save their asses or the 6 polices that been charged . I can't blame a Black guy from trying to go to the hospital than get in the back of a police wagon.
