A Heterasexual Man's Earring

I'm answering your question.
It's style for men wear both earring or one earring each.

I saw the men have Stretched ear piercing without jewelry and Flesh Tunnel are ugly! It's my opinion!

Not true

I saw alot of men are still earrings.

You're right! Some men don't wear earring pierce anymore. Some Men never have get earring pierce. They thought it for girls and women.

My husband used to have 2 earring pierce on his left side not right side when he was in high school. He don't wear it anymore. He is become a stud! I respect his choice.

I also thought it was out of style. I see many fewer men with earrings.

No. It's still in style! I saw many men do wear earring pierce. The most men are teenger, pre adult, young adult and adult do wear earring pierce. Now, I saw many men have stretch ears. It's ugly! You might live in small town. If I live in city. You will spot men are wearing.

I forgot about the stretch ears. With the big round thing in the earlobe. A young man who works in Jimmy Johns sandwich shop near my house has it. It makes me feel a little sick every time I see it.

Exactly! It's gross! When he get old and will shrink or stretch cause ugly. It's waste the money for surgery to make a hole by drill stretch make a big round. That's not cool! I like normal earring pierce for men instead BIG ROUND TUNNEL!

My brother did the big gaping hole earring for a couple of years. For a while his holes were big enough around I could stick my pinkie finger in them. But due to his job he is no longer able to wear them and his tattoos must be completely covered. But with him, he has no problem for that because his tattoos are on his back, abdomen, and upper arms so he can stil wear a short sleeved shirt to work during the summer.

Ive thought about getting a tattoo but I dont feel that I am quite ready to go under the gun just yet.

It is supposed to be, left for straight, right for G. the thing though is that I have never seen anything but the left. Those who wear only one ear are throw backs to the 80’s and even the 90’s. every young guy that has earings now has both pierced. Mine are. I get hit on more when I have my earings in than when I don’t. I don’t know why that is but it is true.

Maybe it is a regional thing?

Maybe it is just me...I have noticed more redneck-type guys in rural communities don earrings than I have seen guys in urban places like Buckhead.

It must be, because here in my town alternative and indie rock is king, tattoos, skaters and suffers are the main type you see and even some preppy and redneck. Mostly non rednecks here where earrings. They are more gages though not the simple normal type. They need to be real thick or not at all. Even ear plugs and ear spools.

my company doesnt care about the gages (big gapping holes) or full sleeves or even neck tattoos, and i work at a fortune 500 company. My tattoos are on my legs though so no one ever sees them.

I remember years ago when someone mentioned that wearing an earring in your right ear, it means you're gay... and in the left ear, it means you're straight.

Some middle of age (30-50) men are wear earrings as well.

Earrings for men aren't dominant until 80's or 90's.

Beg to differ on that one. I know many men who had their ears pierced in the 60's and 70's. Infact, very few VietNam vets don't have a pierced ear. It was more of a political statement than a fashion statement, however. As a matter of fact, that is how the whole left ear/right ear thing came to be. Men could not openly admit to being gay due to social repurcussions. The right ear was a signal to those who were in a position to know what it meant.

I was on active duty during the '70s and I never saw a military man wearing an earring. I served with many Vietnam vets and never saw them wearing earrings. I remember seeing bikers wearing earrings.

Maybe it depended on the location. :dunno:
