I vote you don't get Naida's at all and convert to the Chili/Safari ;-) just sayin'....but I do like the purple ones - which as you know I had!

I have nailpolished earmolds before. When I had lucite acrylic molds I did all the time. Either with a water based feel off polish so I could change colours, or with a regular nail polish. If you do take it off, use non-acetone remover safer for acrylic nails and it should be fine!

I hated the Naida. I had a first generation one - I was one of the first people in Canada to try them. They were ordered for me like the day they were released. I LOVE my Oticon Safari/Chili's Best hearing aids I have ever had.

Also, is the loaner the new Naida? The one from the Spice line? cause that may explain the clarity...

OAE's are weird. My mom had an audiogram recently and had absent OAE's with perfectly normal hearing thresholds on her audiogram. I know someone else with normal hearing who's OAE's show up at 120dB. They have like a 50% false positive rate too. I am not entirely sure why they still test them?

yup. I wanted purple aids. Bought the tubing myself, decided on the pink molds myself, and added the butterfly charms and flower stickers on my own.

My audi is going to order me larger earhooks. She thinks this may solve the problem.

Do people find that they dig into you behind your ears? they are more "box" like than the naidas and I find that they edges leave indents behind my ears, no matter what length my tubing is!

And I cannot find pink tubing. It makes me feel sad.

Honestly, the story of his name is as follows... Adopted him and his name was "Smiley". I HATED that name and wanted a Deaf name...then I thought Marlee (as in Marlee Matlin) but he is a boy, so his name is Marley. It was also close enough to Smiley that he instantly responded to it.

For those of you who don't know - Marley is my dog. He ate one of my earmolds. It isn't a severe loss since it NEVER fit right. I went today to get a new impression but because of company issues I can't get it the same colour as my right mold - which is pink. So, I will have one that is purple...

I fully support this purple hair idea. My hearing aids are purple, with pink earmolds and purple tubing. My hair is pink/purple and dark brown. My glasses are pink and my nose stud is pink too. I STRONGLY support all attempts at full color coordination. :giggle:
