I am sure some of you have ur own songs that u sing in the shower, car, or by the computer when u are bored...

Or ur favorite Songs that Ur Favorite Singer sings can also be post here.

Here is Mine... This Kiss By Faith Hill...

*Singing*
I don’t want another heartbreak
I don’t need another turn to cry
I don’t want to learn the hard way
Baby, hello, oh, no, goodbye
But you got me like a rocket
Shooting straight across the sky

It’s the way you love me
It’s a feeling like this
It’s centrifugal motion
It’s perpetual bliss

It’s that pivotal moment
It’s impossible
This kiss, this kiss (Unstoppable)
This kiss, this kiss

Cinderella said to Snow White
How does love get so off course
All I wanted was a white knight
With a good heart, soft touch, fast horse

Ride me off into the sunset
Baby, I’m forever yours

It’s the way you love me
It’s a feeling like this
It’s centrifugal motion
It’s perpetual bliss

It’s that pivotal moment
It’s unthinkable
This kiss, this kiss (Unsinkable)
This kiss, this kiss

You can kiss me in the moonlight
On the rooftop under the sky
You can kiss me with the windows open
While the rain comes pouring inside
Kiss me in sweet slow motion
Let’s let every thing slide
You got me floating, you got me flying

It’s the way you love me
It’s a feeling like this
It’s centrifugal motion
It’s perpetual bliss

It’s that pivotal moment
It’s subliminal
This kiss, this kiss (It’s Criminal)
This kiss, this kiss *Singing Ends*

What a clever idea for a thread, Cheri! I too have a song that I sometimes sing to myself during those quiet times alone…

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
the skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day,
for a three hour tour, a three hour tour………
The weather started getting rough,
the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
the Minnow would be lost; the Minnow would be lost.
The ship took ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle,
with Gilligan, the Skipper too,
the Millionaire, and his Wife,
the Movie Star, the Professor and Mary Ann,
here on Gilligan's Isle…

During periods of deep spiritual introspection, I sometimes find myself breaking into a hearty rendition of the Swedish Chef song from the the Muppet Show:

"Yorn desh born, der ritt de gitt der gue,
Orn desh, dee born desh, de umn BORK! BORK! BORK!"

ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLl HAHAHAHAH I JUST saw that post levioan and i knew u were gonna break in to the castaway songs on the gillgan island ROFLLLLLLLLLLLL HAHAHA here's mine that i use when im in need of inspriations....
Sung by garth brooks
written by garth brooks and ken brazey

The River

you know a dreams like a river
ever changing as it flows and
a dreamer just a vessel that follows where it goes
trying to learn from what's behind you
never knowing whats in store makes each day
a costant battle to stay between the shores

And i will sail my vessel
til the river runs dry
like bird upon the winds
these waters are my skies
i ll never reach my desination
if i ever try
so i will sail my vessel
til the river runs dry

too many times we stand aside
let the waters drift away
what we put off til tomorrow
must now become today
don't u dare sit upon the shores
say your satsifed
chose to chance the rapids
and dare to dance the tides

And i will sail my vessel
til the river runs dry
like a bird upon the winds
these waters are my skies
and i ll never reach my desination
if i ever tried
and i ll sail my vessel
til the river runs dry

til the river runs dry
til the river runs dry

 Very, Very Cute Levonian! I love your song.

I actually don't have a favorite song that I've heard...I can't really hear the words to any music...so I don't like music...can't appreciate something you can't hear, you know?

BUT I did read the lyrics to a song called "Because You Loved Me." I loved it...it's so true for me too...and I think we like the songs that describe us, our lives and times...

Hello- by Lionel Richie ( One of my favorite song since I was young )

*song begins*

I've been alone with you
Inside my mind
And in my dreams I've kissed your lips
A thousand of times
I sometimes see you
Passing outside my door
HELLO!
Is it me you're looking for?
I can see it in your eyes
I can see it in your smile
You're ALL I've ever wanted
And my arms are open wide
Because you know just what to say
And you know just what to do
And I want to tell you so much
I LOVE YOU.......

I long to see the sunlight in your hair
And tell you time and time again
how much I care
Sometimes I feel my heart will overflow
HELLO!
I've just got to let you know
Because I wonder where you are
And I wonder what you do
Are you somewhere feeling lonely?
Or is someone loving you?
Tell me how to win your heart
For I haven't got a clue
But let me start by saying I LOVE YOU

HELLO!
Is it me you're looking for?
Because I wonder where you are
And I wonder what you do
Are you somewhere feeling lonely?
Or is someone loving you?
Tell me how to win your heart
For I haven't got a clue
But let me start by saying
I LOVE youuuuuuu......

*song end*

Here's my favorite song:

I love you.
You love me.
Let's hang Barney in a tree.
Light a match.
Watch him glow.
Look at that big purple ho!

Wow... I sing that song a lot too --and always have a goofy grin on my face, mostly in the car. I'm sure most people in the cars next to me are wondering what the heck I'm doing...

Hopelessly Devoted To You (Olivia Newton John)

Guess mine is not the first heart broken,
My eyes are not the first to cry
I'm not the first to know,
There's just no gettin' over you

I'm just a fool who's willing
To sit around and wait for you
But baby can't you see,
There's nothin' else for me to do
I'm hopelessly devoted to you

But now there's nowhere to hide,
Since you pushed my love aside
I'm not in my head,
Hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you,
Hopelessly devoted to you

My head is saying "fool, forget him",
My heart is saying "don't let go"
Hold on to the end,
That's what I intend to do
I'm hopelessly devoted to you

But now there's nowhere to hide,
Since you pushed my love aside
I'm not in my head,
Hopelessly devoted to you

Metallica - "Wherever I May Roam" (from the 80s) -- this is the lyric i identify with the most today -- i am an 80s child (obviously LOL) and i loved rock/heavy metal -- today's music IMO sucks!!!

...and the road becomes my bride
I have stripped of all but pride
so in her I do confide
and she keeps me satisfied
gives me all I need
...and with dust in throat I crave
only knowledge will I save
to the game you stay a slave

rover, wanderer
nomad, vagabond
call me what you will
but I'll take my time anywhere
free to speak my mind anywhere
and I'll redefine anywhere
anywhere I may roam

where I lay my head is home
...and the earth becomes my throne
I adapt to the unknown
under wandering stars I've grown
by myself but not alone
I ask no one

...and my ties are severed clean
the less I have the more I gain
off the beaten path I reign
rover wanderer
nomad vagabond
call me what you will

but I'll take my time anywhere
I'm free to speak my mind anywhere
and I'll never mind anywhere
anywhere I may roam
where I lay my head is home
but i'll take my time anywhere
free to speak my mind
and I'll take my find anywhere
anywhere I may roam
where I lay my head is home
carved upon my stone
my body lie, but still I roam
wherever I may roam

Skid Row - "Youth Gone Wild" (from the 80s too) -- i identified with this one when i was much younger -- after all i WAS indeed a problem child  on occasions i would find it playing in my head :o

Since I was born they couldn't hold me down
Another misfit kid, another burned-out town

Never played by the rules I never really cared
My nasty reputation takes me everywhere

I look and see it's not only me
So many others have stood where I stand
We are the young so raise your hands

They call us problem child
We spend our lives on trial
We walk an endless mile
We are the youth gone wild
We stand and we won't fall
We're the one and one for all
The writing's on the wall
We are the youth gone wild

Boss screamin' in my ear about who I'm supposed to be
Getcha a 3-piece Wall Street smile and son you'll look just like me

I said "Hey man, there's something that you oughta know.
I tell ya Park Avenue leads to Skid Row."

I look and see it's not only me
We're standin' tall ain't never a doubt
We are the young, so shout it out

They call us problem child
We spend our lives on trial
We walk an endless mile
We are the youth gone wild
We stand and we won't fall
We're the one and one for all
The writing's on the wall
We are the youth gone wild

They call us problem child
We spend our lives on trial
We walk an endless mile
We are the youth gone wild
We stand and we won't fall
We're the one and one for all
The writing's on the wall
We are the youth gone wild
We are the youth gone wild

Kix - "Don't Close Your Eyes" (how did u figure its from the 80s  ) -- this song is really sad and it sticks in my head on occasions too

What's you're doing out in the night time
Won't you call me on the phone
Your mama can't solve your problem
When's daddy ever get home

So you think you're a little bit wild
In the middle of the suicide

Don't close your eyes
Don't close your eyes
Don't sing your last lullaby

No one there to hold you
No one is your friend
You live life up and down now
Nightmares on your brain

Another lonely way of hanging round
Don't you take it falling down no no

Hold on hold on tight
I'll make everything all right
Wake up don't go asleep
I'll pray the lord
Your soul to keep

Don't close your eyes
Don't close your eyes
Don't sing your last lullaby

Don't close your eyes
Don't close your eyes
Don't sing your last lullaby

How about this one? I alway listened to this song and others. I will post more.

Donna Summer - SHE WORKS HARD FOR THE MONEY

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

Onetta there in the corner stand
and wonders where she is and
it's strange to her
some people seem to have everything

Nine a.m. on the hour hand
and she's waiting for the bell
and she's looking real pretty
just wait for her clientele

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

Twenty five years have
come and gone
and she' seen a lot of tears
of the ones who come in
they really seem to need her there

It's a sacrifice working day to day
for little money just tips for pay
But it's worth it all
just to hear them say that they care

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She already knows
she's seen her bad times
she already knows
these are the good times

She'll never sell out
she never will
not for a dollar bill
she works hard

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

The song is from 80's. My ex gf and I were so opposite and we listened to that song. We agreed that It was fit us. Here's the song.

Paula Abdul - OPPOSITE ATTRACT

Baby seems we never ever agree
You like the movies
And I like T.V.
I take thing serious
And you take 'em light
I go to bed early
And I party all night
Our friends are sayin'
We ain't gonna last
Cuz I move slowly
And baby I'm fast
I like it quiet
And I love to shout
But when we get together
It just all works out
I take--2 steps forward
I take--2 steps back
We come together
Cuz opposites attract
And you know--it ain't fiction
Just a natural fact
We come together
Cuz opposites attract
Who'd a thought we could be lovers
She makes the bed
And he steals the covers
She likes it neat
And he makes a mess
I take it easy
Baby I get obsessed
She's got the money
And he's always broke
I don't like cigarettes
And I like to smoke
Things in common
There just ain't a one
But when we get together
We have nothin' but fun
I take--2 steps forward
I take--2 steps back
We come together
Cuz opposites attract
And you know--it ain't fiction
Just a natural fact
We come together
Cuz opposites attract

Repeat Chorus
Baby ain't it somethin'
How we lasted this long
You and me
Provin' everyone wrong
Don't think we'll ever
Get our differences patched
Don't really matter
Cuz we're perfectly matched

Repeat chorus twice

Lianca -- u definately are another 80s child! the 80s ROCKED!!!!

the lyrics by Paula Abdul has me wondering if thats the one she sang for her ex Emilio Estevez qq cuz i know they ended in divorce at some point

Interesting songs you guys have.... i also sing in long trip between my home town to Twin cities.. hate those 2 hour drive...

Everyday i drive down the road.. seeing those rowdy drivers
My friend is one of those rowdy drivers driving pass along the road
sunset is comming down and the light blaring through the night
yeah, i see the deer on the side of the road
yeah its a deer that's staring on my car
I will always let the rowdy drivers pass me.
Yeah i'm slow driver like my grandma driving 5-10 mph over the limit
those rowdy drivers drive 15-20 mph over the limit gets mad at me behind my car
i always let those rowdy driver pass me
Oh boy, its still a long way to home.. hurry up oh yeah! :D
