I found this video clip from College Humor:

http://content.collegehumor.com/media/movies/bush-caught-off-guard.mpg

It's not captioned or subtitled, but I did manage to find the transcript related to this video clip. This is a 43-second video clip of a part of the whole Presidential News Conference that took place on December 15, 2003. President Bush was caught off-guard and made a snappy, yet embarassing, response to a question that was asked by a reporter.

Here's the transcript as created by CNN.

It's very long, but if you scroll down... you'll find this small part.
QUESTION: I know you said there'll be a time for politics, but you've also said you wanted to change the tone of Washington.

Howard Dean recently seemed to muse aloud whether you had advance knowledge of 9/11. Do you agree or disagree with the RNC that this kind of rhetoric borders on political hate speech?

There's time for politics. And, you know -- there's time for politics. And I -- it's an absurd insinuation.

QUESTION: In that case, sir, can I follow up on something unrelated?

(LAUGHTER)
To clarify who's saying what... here's a modified version of the dialogue.

LOL.....

That's triple-:Owned:

But tonight's State of Union address to Congress by Bush just made me :barf: :barf: :barf: But the reaction from the Dems tonight were really PRICELESS.....

"The State of the Union may look rosy from the White House balcony or the suites of George Bush's wealthiest donors. But hardworking Americans will see through this president's efforts to wrap his radical agenda with a compassionate ribbon." - Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean.

"It's all just smoke and mirrors designed to hide the stark fact that (President Bush) has no real plan for our future. It's nothing but special effects designed to hide the sad truth that for these three long years, George W. Bush has helped those who have most, hurt those who have least, and ignored everyone in between." - Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark.

On wards to :Owned: Shrub this November!

Of course, it's his obsession! He's been supporting Dean for as long as I can remember! His signature says it all!

Did U know that there a Book about President Bush that was Publishers, October 2003...

All presidents have lied, but George W. Bush has relentlessly abused the truth. In THE LIES OF GEORGE W. BUSH: MASTERING THE POLITICS OF DECEPTION (Crown Publishers, October 2003)—a steely and scathing indictment of the president and his advisers—David Corn, the Washington editor of The Nation and a Fox News Channel contributor, reveals and examines the deceptions at the heart of the Bush presidency. In a stunning piece of journalism, he details and substantiates the all-too many times Bush and his aides have knowingly misled the American public to advance their own interests and agenda.

When campaigning for the presidency, Bush vowed to “restore” honor and integrity to the Oval Office, but Corn uses the president’s own words and deeds to prove beyond a doubt that this claim was the first lie of many. In other instances of presidential prevarication, Bush has:

• Brazenly misrepresented intelligence data and relied on dishonest arguments to whip up support for war with Iraq;
• Made numerous false statements about the provisions and effects of his super-sized tax cuts;
• Offered disingenuous and misleading explanations about the 9/11 attacks, the war on terrorism, and homeland security;
• Lied about his connections—and those of his administration—to corporate crooks;
• Presented deceptive claims to sell controversial policies on the environment, stem cell research, missile defense, abortion, energy, Social Security, health care, education, and other crucial issues;
• Dishonestly claimed to be a positive campaigner while engaging in deceitful and down-and-dirty tactics during the 2000 presidential campaign and recount drama.

THE LIES OF GEORGE W. BUSH is no partisan whine. It is a carefully constructed, well-developed, and convincing fact-driven account that shows how Bush has consistently relied upon duplicity to wage political and policy battles. The book covers lies Bush told as a presidential candidate (“I have been very candid about my past”); in his first days in office (“We pulled back [the arsenic standard] so that we could make a decision based upon sound science”); while selling a war to the American people (“Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapon ever devised”); and as a crusader for tax cuts (“Tax relief for everybody . . . while still reducing our national debt and funding important priorities”). Corn explains with wit and style how Bush managed to get away with it, and he explores the dangerous consequences of White House deceit in a perilous age... That Book is Awesome! That tells you so Much about Bush our President.

Cheri -- thanks for posting that info! ive always sensed that Bush has been lying in many issues and would keep lying to try and gain "popularity" and ive always (and will always stand by this) considered the 2000 votes as dirty and/or fixed -- Gore wouldve won if it wasnt Bush's brother the Governor of Florida Jeb Bush getting in the middle of this whole elections and making sure that Bush "had the higher votes" and thus getting him into office and look whats happened 4 years later qq its all so FUCKED UP!!! :madfawk: at the Bush administration

Bush

But then Bush doesnt have any cow sense...*sigh*...he always did say something embarrassing every time he opened his mouth. Maybe it's time for one of the other Bushes to stuff some leaves in his mouth!
