I was 7-11 when I was born. 11..damn, that is a small child, not an infant.

took me a min to rethink that 7-11 cuz that sounded like 711 store where u were born??? LOL! sorry matty!

OMG almost 12 pound baby? Oh dear lawd... *fanning herself* I'm glad to hear that she's doing great though! The parents must be very tall? My cousin is 6 feet tall and his wife is almost 6 feet tall and all three of their children were born about 10 pounds. That's why I asked.

Don't care about the needles, I've been through so many times on my arm for thyroid test and once on my foot for bladder infection. It's nothing really. I'd be too busy thinking about the baby and the way I see it, if the mothers can do it then so can I. We are sooo excited and of course it's our first baby! :D

I'm hoping to have a natural birth because when my mom had my brother and me, she had c-section both times due to her small pelvis. I hope mine is wide enough for the baby to come through. If not, oh well that's that and pray that all will turn out just fine and dandy. :D

Ooooh I just cannot wait for the day to arrive and hold my lil' one in my arms and kiss him/her all over the face, hold it's tiny hands and play with pinky toes. *giggles*

I gave my daughter a natural birth without C-section. My doctor thought I d might need a C-section because my daughter's head didn't turn down at 7 1/2 mos about half month later that my daughter turned her head down. I never forget about that night. That was hilarious. I was so calm and all... My couple friends... I ll tell ya more for next post.

I heard they can knock you out and they can take the baby out (from the vagina not c section) you dont have to do the labor process.......

I dont think they do that anymore..

I'm nervous! :) Wonder if C-Section leaves scar?

It does leave a scar, but they do the incision in the bikini area, so that if you want to wear a bikini or whatever, it wont be seen. :) I think they've improved on doing incisions , the scar it leaves doesnt look that bad and thinner if closed to heal with staples on them than stitches, which would make the scar look ugly.

Yep! Amazing baby small fingers and feet I have looked over first day from her birth, they're just beautiful! I also have kissed her since her birth dont know when would I stop or less kissing her I really couldn't :) go in bed with me I cuddle and kiss her til aslept. I caught her talking with her nanny other day she told her my mom much kisses and hug me as always she signed

I was born 4 pounds and 9 oz, I had to stay in the hosptial for two weeks then finally went home on thanksgiving. :)

My son was born at 7lbs 5 oz 20 inches long...had an hour of pushing to get my son out. If my son were any bigger than that, I might end up to have c-section because my pelvis is not big enough to deliver vaginally if its more than 7lbs :/ Im glad that my son was vaginally delivered so I can get the experience. :)

I have that too, It doesnt affect the pregnancy at all if you keep taking meds. My medication for it didn't effect my boys at all.. nor the disease..:)

I was born 3lbs 13oz, so I stayed in the hospital for about 2 months. The doctors thought I wouldn't survive, I proved them wrong :o

 Lasza! Yes I was diagnosed with Hypo-thyroid (underactive thyroid) in 1998. I had a sub-total thyroidectomy in 1999 due to benign tumor and very, very large goiter around my neck. I only have 5% of thyroid gland in my neck. I am on Levoxyl (Synthroid) pills for the rest of my life. I also take Cyctomel pill (steriod base) for joint pain and hairloss. Now I have to go back to my thyroid specialist every month to increase the dose due to baby growing every month. It's important for me and the baby with the same level.

As of now, I am still on the same dose for 1 year. Right now I notice I'm shedding some hair and that's when I need to go back to the doctor to check for my thyroid level and see if he needs to increase the dose.

What kind of thyroid disease do you have Lasza?

 awww that is sooo sweet! Keep on kissing her because babies loves receiving attention in any way. Your daughter really enjoys that and she knows that you love her very much! I would do the same. My mom is *sooo* excited for me and my hubby and she cannot wait to spend time with her grandchild. hehehe Though she has three grandboys from my brother, but no girls unfortunately. They all hope we'll have a girl hehehe I said who knows, but it doesn't matter to me. Just as long it's healthy!

 Katzie,
I do have hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid). Found out last year after notice symptoms become worst. Espeically groiter on my lower neck under voice box. Right now, size is almost near to golf ball on each side of my neck. Really annoying me big time when my head move from right to left too much Have to start make my body start move instead of head more. Doctor said my TSH (0.49) is "Low Normal". That mean I will not get treatment till below 0.40 or lower. Currently, I use Atenolol (beta blocker) for making heart pressure and anxiety disorder under the control.
My nails become more soft than before. Some symptoms are  I am telling ya.
I still researching on hyperthryoidism because I learned that any sub-total thyroidectomy is highly recommend for women who want babies in the future. RAI (Radioactive Iodine) is high risk for damage child bearing. That why I was not fully sure and not make offically decide in the future.

Oh man, I'm so behind on this thread! I gotta to go back and read the "unread" posts before I go on. ;)

I was born 21 inches long, I don't remember how much I weighed but it was probably around 8 or 9 lbs. I was born very healthy. Funny thing is I was born at 6:24 am in the morning. I don't know how long my mother was in labor with me but I am her second child. I remember watching my brother's birth (I was 7 at the time and I got to see him be born). My brother was born at the same hospital as me, same city, same state, but different times and lbs. and inches.

I think I was 9lb 12oz when I born. My sons were 9lb 1oz and 9lb 15oz (almost 10lb) when they born. Hope this third baby isn't any bigger than the second. :ugh:

My husband was much smaller than me when he born. :thumb: That helps! ;)
