What would you do with it? Spend it? Report it to authorities? What would you spend it on? What if there was a tag on that dufflebag with someone's name and adress? What if that person was well known for criminal activities?

I would keep it, deposit it, purchase a new computer for my art studio and a big flat screen TV in the living room. Rest would be there for whatever I need.

So how about you?
 
Keep it? Are you nuts? Someone is looking for that money!!! YOu can get in a lot of trouble with either the authorities or whoever is looking for that money.

i would report it ASAP.

I would be very tempted to use it for myself, though!
 
Return it and the most I'll expect in return is a pen. But will I care about not keeping the money?

I would go to police, and have them find the rightful owner, or if money was used in criminal activities, it will be in possession of police for evidence.... Unsure about reward.... If the owner want to reward me, that's fine...

I wouldn't fully trust the tag. All the more reason to turn it in to the police. Let them figure it out.

Keeping someone else's money without permission is stealing.

I would give bag back to the police without thinking twice. Because it isn't mine also God says for anyone not to steal. I will not be able to deal with guilt if I kept the money.
 
Yall crazy if you return it.I my brother found small bag of money it was $1500 total he told dad and dad called the police and returned it.They heard a robber stole money from a small store and threw it out. I dont know why they threw the money out into the woods. But all he got was a handshake and a thank you. See only a sucker would return it. Its a hard tough cruel world out there and yall gotta get tough with it. Cause nobody isnt gonna give you a break or understand why you cant pay your bill.Its like this. If you owe property taxes and if you cant pay you think the county gonna understand? NO WAY! Theyre gonna auction off your home if you cant pay your property taxes. You think the bank will understand if you cant make your car payment? NO WAY theyre gonna call the repo man to steal your car.So why should give the world a break if they wont give me a break .So id would keep the damn money and pay off my bills with stolen money.
 
Report it to the authorities. Cause if it is laced, because it was stolen, I surely dont want to go to jail, 50000 dollars dosent just get lost, you know... If its legitimate money I get it back in 30-90 days if no one claims it :D

Report to the police. If no one claim it then I will polly get it back but I would rather give it to charity.
 
Plenty of fantasy! We Americans can't live without George Washingtons. Well, I would end up returning them. Because the rewards is always triple in future. I believe in karmic, whatever you do right, karma will treat you three times of its valuation in future. OR be greedy now, and suffer three times more in future.
If there is reward being offered, I'd rather request decent job!!! :)
 
I'm the finders keepers type and a 3 yr old Hummer would be a nice toy to have. Could be God's gift for being the 24/7 deaf guardian in the past decade.

yes IF it really LOT LOT of money I would turn it to police know why? because like some say it belong to someone or it could be from criminal. IT did happen recently down here in Dallas, there were some bunch of kids found over i believe 500,000 dollars in one of duffles bag. They break up the money to every kids at school. That Gang who stole that money found out that kids took the money from school yard had threat the kids and even their family if not return the money. School and families called the police and investating on this try to catch the gang who stole money and recover the money from all kids that hasnt spent.
 
How will the mafia find out? Even if tony soprano approaches me i can negotiate with him.Ill say heres your money ($) Now i like a favor... Could you get that sheriff deputy off my back? He will say sure thing :)
