Have you had your dog or cat eat your foods off the counter??

Last nite I made a pot roast in the bag and had it for dinenr. I have some left of the meat on the counter the next thing I knew it was gone. I figure out it was my dog who stole it. She was tall enough to reach the counter. So that is why my next do would be pomeranian cuz it so small and cant reach the counter. Right now I have black lab mix. GRRRRRRRRR to Penny. She have done that few times.

my kitten tabby could jump on the counter few times now. so i had to water spray her few times to make her learn not to get on the counter or using my roomie voice cuz she hates hates hates his voice. either way works but it gives time to make her realize. grrrrrrrr at tabby... hehe :squint:

I don't have pets expect my hamster but she doesn't go up the counter :giggle: But, Yesterday, I had a party for my boys for their birthday, Anyways My dad brought his puppy with him over my house yesterday and he ate foods that was on the floor in the kitchen I was like "That saves me a sweeping time" :thumb:

Yea I dont mind on the floor but not on the counter. Geez dumb dog.

Thank God that my cat is too lazy and overweight to attempt jumping onto the counters. All she does is sleep on my bed nonstop. So no need to worry about that ;)

My oldest cat never once had bother eating food from the table or counter but my little black kitten oh my goodness, he act like a dog !! always in the trash can or in the sink , licking off the dirty left over plates or pots or on the table eating the children's plate or bowl, there are times I had to put him in the bathroom when we serve lunch or dinner.... :ugh:

I've told him from time to time, no no no kitten but hell, he never listen, he even goes nuts when it comes with table food! sometimes I'm scare he would bite my hand off if I had taking the food away from him.. :Ohno:

 THIEF! Now it's your turn... if you don't mind eating the dog food? *snicker*

Naw, my cat never grew accustomed to the counter in the kitchen because the older cat we previously have always hogged the counter. Diamy, my cat, couldn't get onto the counter with the older cat lying all across the counter, preventing him from leaping onto safely. Now the older cat is out of the picture (gave him back to its original owner) Diamy wouldn't dream to leap onto the counter. He used to hangout on our kitchen table and it pissed us off because then he had the fleas and it was GROSS... we resorted to the water spray and it worked. Now Diamy is fleas-free and only hangout on the chairs that are tucked away under the kitchen table. Close to the table which is good enough for him. ;-)

The description about your 2nd cat is an EXACTLY same as my 2nd cat Kim  She also eat and clean on the floor or plate until they are clean where the foods are overleft.
I already take few pictures of her to steal my son's dinner. She is impatience and eat EVERYTHING like she CAN eat in the trash can and also in the sink, too.
She jumped and sit middle between 2 sinks and watch us to finish to wash ourselves EVERYDAY. I also take the picture of her with 2 sons where she sit on the middle between 2 sinks.
My 18 years old cat, Sussi is fussy eater. She eat only cat foods, ham and chicken and whipped cream, thick cream, that's all. She doesnt' steal anything like Kim.

Nope. I trained my cat too well to not let it jump on any tables or counter. She knows that I forbid it.

But she kept clawing my pants if she smells something that she likes.. That's really annoying. I tried different methods to stop her from doing that but seem couldn't. Not even water spray. So whenever I eat something that she likes, I will put her away in my bedroom and close the door until I am done with my meals. That's only solution I can see to stop her from clawing my pants during eating :)

Oh great topic.. Made me remind about my Rogue (bulldog) She is quite smart than other bullies.. I do not know why she doing it..

When my hubby cooking the roast beef and ready to serve plated on the dining table... He forgot something to get the fork and knives.. and came back stunned surprised, Where roast beef go ? I was walked into the dining room and saw my hubby's face reacts got big ghost face! I asked him, what wrong ? He said.. FUCK WHERE THE ROAST BEEF GO ? I said.. I have not taken.. and hollering for my 3 kids. My kids came into the dining room.. I asked 3 kids, "Have you took roast beef?" 3 kids said.. Nope and why ? I said never mind... I looked down the under table... HEY ROGUE.. Damn you.... My hubby was chase Rogue but too late she ate whole thing..

Ruinned our dinner... We decide and went out for the dinner at resturant.

**I believe Rogue jump on the chair and jump on the dining table and steal the roast beef. **

And also, Renuion birth mom/sister/niece and nephew were staying my place for wknd... My mom bought tim hortons timbitss(donuts) and left on the dining table.. My hubby and I were out... HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NO WAY... impossible... All the glass cup still stand not even spill at all... just empty the timbits(donuts) of box. When my hubby and I were return home... My mom explained me WHOLE THING what happend... I was so laughed hell hard... My my.... Damn I forgot to tell my mom about Rogue... To prevent the foods not leaving on the dining table... Best leave on the kitchen counter... *sigh* She asked me.. Impossible bulldog can't jump on the dining table.. I laughed again.. and told her.. look carefully... think twice look at the chairs.... Rogue can push the chairs far and climb-jump on the chair then jump on the dining table.. Anything she can eat!

Eww... well at least you don't have a cat, like I do, that poop out intact strings (YARN or ribbon strings) and twigs, and HAIR! You can see several separate feces attached to eachother only by three strands of hair that came out in those feces!

Hmm.. too graphical. It is time for me to get Littermaid!
