Ever watch a show/movie just for someone you like in it?

Do you watch movies or shows that just for someone you like in it?

Example:
There are actors/actress who are worth watching in any role /any film. There was a period where you watched every single movie that starred in someone you like?
 
Haha, I was planning to make a topic like this but bit different. Anyway... as for actors & actresses, it would be...

Actors:
Mel Gibson (my second favorite), Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis (my most favorite actor, even though he is an republican.. :/), Robin Williams, Pitt Brad, John Travolta, Tom Hanks, George Clooney and Richard Gere. I am trying to watch all what these actors were acting in but as for Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson, I watched every movie.

Actresses:
Demi Moore (fav), Carrie-Anne Moss, Rene Russo, Julia Roberts, Michelle Pfeiffer (fav), Jennifer Love Hewitt, and others.. (I forget). I watched most of Demi Moore and Michelle Pfeiffer movies if not all.


Cheri, I am not stalking you! :P I always like to post in almost any 'fresh' topics.
 
Yes I have, once I found out a certain actor or actress was starring in the show/movie....most of the times, these shows/movies turned out great too!

I love them too! Tom Cruise is my first crush, that I always had to rent/buy movies starting him in it. ;) and No; I am not his stalker, I never stalked anyone in my life ha!

When I was younger, I used to rent lame or B-movies cuz they had Playboy models or super models in there. :naughty:

Now, I get them for the actualy plot and characters. ;)
 
Tom Cruise is my favorite actor too, Cheri and I watch any movies that he's in whenever I go to Blockbuster. I think he's good actor, nice looking and has nice smile too.

I wonder.. are you going to say 'nice body' and 'nice ass' but hold it back or decide to not? ;)

That's what I always heard from women I met who talked about Tom Cruise.
 
for me it depends.. but however mel gibson films or if mel gibson is in the movie i tend to watch it.

or eddie murphy.. Yeah those shirek movie feature eddie murphy i do watch even he's not there but he's talking as known as a donkey.

adam sanders is another one... uh... marlee matlin is other one... and few others.. but those 4 actors/actress is my main pick.
 
I always watch any movies that has Harrison Ford in it --movies containing Harrison is almost ALWAYS guaranteed to be a great movie...ie: Star Wars trilogy and the Indiana Jones Trilogy...Presumed Innocent, the list goes on. :)

Since Mark Hamill didn't make a lot of movies after the Star Wars Trilogy -- he stuck mainly to theatre, so didn't get to see much of him in movies. :( Same goes for Carrie Fisher.

Others -- I like watching movies that has Sigourney Weaver, Eddie Murphy, Seth Green (from Scooby Doo 2 and Stephen King's IT), Jonathan Brandis (before he died last year), Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd...

Oh yeah...a few others...Jenette Goldstein, Bill Paxton and Lance Henriksen (all from 'Aliens') They all went to make a few movies together after that -- 'Near Dark'.

Jenette and Bill were in 'Titanic'
 
well I usually like to watch movies that has my favorite actors and actresses in it...but just to make sure if the movie was pretty good before I could see it though.

for example, my favorite actor is Jim Carrey and I wanted to see "cable guy" because of him but then when I watched it, the story and other actors/actresses were just dead HORRIBLE so it's a good thing that I rented it first before buying it and "cable guy" was proably one of the worst carrey movies I've seen in years to come.

and my favorite actress is Halley Berry :naughty: and I was thinking about seeing "catwoman" because of her...but then I heard from my brother and read many reviews from that movie saying it was just one of the worst comic based movies EVER wasted...awful story, horrible acting, and stupid action and stunts...etc you name it but lucky I never seen that one anyway.

That's why I refused to watch... I know it will turn to bad or awful movie. I wish they took Spider-man movie as a lesson and make a better movie based on that. *shrugs* I like Michelle Pfeiffer as catwoman, she is more sexier (as catwoman) IMHO.

Oh my gosh! I forget to mention Harrison Ford in my list! He rocks. I watch many movies where he acted in.

I'm crazy over Friends show.. so I have all seasons except the last two I think that haven't come out yet
