Emergency Medical Bracelet?

It's not silly, In case of an emergency medical staffs always would ask if they are pregnant, maybe she wanted to wear it so they could see that she is pregnant.

So, what do yours say? Your name and any allergies or conditions you have?

Your name, your conditions, and a phone number to call someone you want to know if you're hurt (a parent, friend, partner, what have you) would be best.

So

"Alicia M
deaf asthmatic
866-666-6666"

i used to have bracket to let ppl know that i am deaf when i was little kid but it was lost =(

Just go to ebay and type "medic alert id." You can get free engraving. Even one necklace engraved free for $9.95 and free shipping.

The ones I linked to in my post cost about 35$ with shipping and engraving for a pretty simple coloured tube as the band and the medical id itself. If you want to buy interchangeable bracelets later, unlike the junk you'll find off ebay, you don't have to pay a new engraving or ID tag fee- you only buy the band of the bracelet itself, which is great if you want to have several different styles or colours.

I never think about getting Medical Alert Id bracelet. I will get it, someday.

I have heart condition.

I have allergy to two different medicines.

Those are great. I just bought one for $27.75 includes shipping. It was on sale for $10.25, engrave $10, shipping $7.50.

Very pretty bracelets you can buy.

If your purse, and especially if your purse and CI processor, get lost in an accident things -may- very badly. Your internal implant, if it's one of the newer ones, is MRI-safe, but the magnet has to be removed (a minor surgery) before.. if the hospital does not know and you are not in condition to tell them, you could end up in a lot of trouble.

A medical ID is a lot less likely to get detached from you in an accident compared to your purse.

how do i know if my implant is mri safe? I was implanted in 2000
