Do people remember Clinton Era?

Do not even tell me about JFK. It's a joke.

You're obviously in the minority when it comes to thinking the JFK presidency was a joke. Many people (including myself) thought JFK was a great President for many reasons. It's a shame his life had to be cut short after being assassinated in 1963.

And let's not forget - seeing as this forum is connected with deaf matters - he wears (and I think he did while in office, but I am prepared to be connected on this!) hearing aids! (OK Reagan did, but he was a little older!)

Lest you forget, Republican Presidents also initiated wars of their own:

Civil War -- Abraham Lincoln
Korea -- Ulysses S. Grant
Spanish/American War and Phillipine Insurrection -- William McKinley
Nicaragua -- Calvin Coolidge
Grenada -- Ronald Reagan
Panama, Persian Gulf War -- George H. W. Bush
Desert Storm -- George H. W. Bush
Afghanistan and Iraq 2001-present -- George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush

Korea - Ulysses S. Grant? WTF? You're not quality to argue until you get history lesson completed.

:)

We need another Bill Clinton. Hopefully the Obama Administration will mirror that of the Clinton Administration.

America needs that and we need it now.

WRONG! I want another Franklin D. Roosevelt. He is the great ever!

I see.... so you only care about "deaths." Just because nobody died from Clinton's lie doesn't mean he's any better than Bush. He was an embarrassment to our country. Again - it's understandable that booming economy and surplus budget shined Bill Clinton so bright that you can't see his flaws in national security and military conflicts.

How convenient of you to turn a blind eye on any lies.... as long as nobody gets hurt (or died).

Accord your answer #99

Waste taxpayers on millions over that stupid blowjob to the America and world...

Oh yes, I care about poor people who HAVE to die over Bush's lousy lies because nobody can bring dead people back alive..

Which worst Blowjob or War?

Get reality!!!

There're nothing to compare between Bosnia and Iraq war because they are TOTAL different.
Please read my post again. I compared Clinton's speech about Iraq to Bush's speech about Iraq. I didn't mention Bosnia

ou like FDR but not Clinton? :hmm:

In many ways, FDR was like Clinton.

For example, FDR created the New Deal to provide relief for the unemployed, recovery of the economy and reform of the economic and banking systems. He also created Social Security and the FDIC (which continues to have a positive impact on the nation's commerce).

Clinton reduced taxes and created more social programs as well as 22 million jobs for the unemployed. At one point during his tenure, he created 22,000 jobs in only one month.

No I did not say JFK's presidency is a joke. I meant his "military experience"

and lest you forget that more people died under Democratic Presidents than Republican Presidents.... and more war conflicts under Dem. Prez than Rep. Prez. BTW - Those wars under Rep. Prez were mostly successful and popular.

and BTW - Korean War was under Harry Truman

Yes, but the difference between Clinton and Bush is that Clinton did not choose to engage in a war against Iraq.
Are you saying that they both lied about Iraq but one didn't follow up with action and the other one did?

and don't forget that under Clinton Administration - the government (Pentagon, military, and CIA) had to "MAKE DO" with severe budget cut and reductions of personnel because Clinton emphasized on technology (satellites) and not spies.... and this led to weak intelligence capability... which led to terrorist attacks on USA....

short story - he left an impossible mess for Bush Administration with inevitable consequence.

Actually, Clinton attacked Iraq in 1998 to avoid Iraqi aggression against the U.S.

However, in the case of Bush, there was no basis to invade Iraq given the fact that there were no WMDs and no proof that they were responsible for 9/11.

and in both cases - Saddam FAILED to cooperate with UN inspectors and USA repeatedly. Bush gave AMPLE amount of warnings... again Saddam played with the fire and he got burnt. bad boy....

Actually, Clinton was not responsible for the first attack of terrorism against the United States.

The first terrorist attack to happen on U.S. soil occurred in 1982 under the Reagan Adminstration in which FALN, a Puerto Rican separatist group, exploded bombs outside of the 26 Federal Plaza in Manhattan, New York FBI Headquarters and a United States courthouse in Brooklyn. In addition, three NYPD officers sustain serious injuries trying to diffuse a second Federal Plaza bomb.
