...What makes Clinton's lie about having sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky different than the lies told by so many other politicians before him?
Clinton was under oath.

I thoght this thread was about Clinton, not Bush.

I'm here to remind some of you the difference lies between Bush and Clinton because some of you negative Clinton over his lies and do if Clinton is the worst liar.

Maybe it's one of them from Bosnian cause 9/11. *gasp* it's Clinton's fault to not prevent from the incident. Good job to make Bush look bad.

Don't worry, my dear, it's only wacky theory.

How could have Clinton prevented the war in Bosnia?

By the way, you're contradicting yourself. On one hand you're criticizing Clinton for not preventing the war in Bosnia and on the other, you are praising him for making Bush look bad?

We're allowed to have negative opinions about Clinton. You just take advantage of every opportinity to bash Bush.

I am allow to remind you about Bush's lies to compare with Clinton's lies either... :)

If we're going to talk about which Presidents had sexual scandals/relations while in office, how about Thomas Jefferson, Grover Cleveland, Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, Fraklin D. Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy?
Because this thread is about Clinton.

...However, you do have a point. Bush lied in order to get us into the war with Iraq and as a result, over 4,000 soldiers have died -- 1,000+ more than the number of people killed in 9/11.
If Bush lied about Iraq then so did Clinton. Clinton gave almost the same speech about Iraq that Bush did, years before.

There're nothing to compare between Bosnia and Iraq war because they are TOTAL different.

Clinton was under oath.

So does that make Clinton's lie worse than those told by Reagan about sending arms to Iran and aid to the Nicaraguan Contras or Nixon's lies about misusing the CIA, his dishonesty about his personal taxes and his involvement in the Watergate cover up?

I don't think so. A lie is a lie is a lie -- no matter who tells it.

Yes, but the difference between Clinton and Bush is that Clinton did not choose to engage in a war against Iraq.

If you mean Bosnia? I do not see anything that Clinton lied about Bosnia war...

House Tells Clinton to Get Approval to Send Troops to Bosnia

House Tells Clinton to Get Approval to Send Troops to Bosnia - New York Times

The fact is there're severe problems between Bosnia and Herzegovina in Yugoslavia some time before US and EU went there to defend and recuse. You cannot compare Bosnia War with Iraq War because all troops were WILLING to go Bosnia to defend ...

Bosnian War - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

History of the War in Bosnia

Exactly!!!

Under Clinton Administration from 1993 to 2000 - 7,500 troops killed

Under Bush Admininstration from 2001 to 2006 - 8,792... It could be more than 1,000 to 2008...

snopes.com: Military Losses, 1980 through 2006

like I said - LIE or NOT - Clinton exhibited a very POOR military decisions that resulted in deaths... a typical trait in Democratic Presidents who lack or have military experience. Do not even tell me about JFK. It's a joke. As far as I'm concerned - he probably never saw a battle. If he did - it's thru his binocular from a safe distance. Again - JFK made very poor military decisions... remember Bay of Pigs?

Again - both JFK and Clinton were good men but just a lousy Commander-in-Chief. I would not serve under them.

Lie over sex? :rofl2:

I see.... so you only care about "deaths." Just because nobody died from Clinton's lie doesn't mean he's any better than Bush. He was an embarrassment to our country. Again - it's understandable that booming economy and surplus budget shined Bill Clinton so bright that you can't see his flaws in national security and military conflicts.

How convenient of you to turn a blind eye on any lies.... as long as nobody gets hurt (or died).

WHAT? Huh?

Do I understand your post correct that you blame Clinton for his poor military decision to lead troops death?

yes. He's no better than Bush in military conflicts. Both made poor judgments. Both lack military experience. Why are you glorifying Clinton?

... a typical trait in Democratic Presidents who lack or have military experience.

Lest you forget, Republican Presidents also initiated wars of their own:

Civil War -- Abraham Lincoln
Korea -- Ulysses S. Grant
Spanish/American War and Phillipine Insurrection -- William McKinley
Nicaragua -- Calvin Coolidge
Grenada -- Ronald Reagan
Panama, Persian Gulf War -- George H. W. Bush
Desert Storm -- George H. W. Bush
Afghanistan and Iraq 2001-present -- George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush
