Actually, I think it is a good idea to have AllDeaf College right here on our forum because we learned to study what is like from Deaf Culture, ASL, Deaf Communities, and learning to speak with funny voices.
SG may be making a joke about AllDeaf College. It is good to know that many Hearies and Hard of Hearing which also make up late deafend or become hard of hearing late in their early childhood to adult. They are curious about us and want to learn something about ASL and about our Deaf Culture.

That's good idea. I took a deaf studies, deaf education and ASL class at my deaf school. I got passed it with my good grader.
I raised to mainstream school with deaf and hard of hearing. Some of hard of hearing with oral. They never learn ASL and deaf education. They were not interest to learn deaf culture. I don't force to them. It up to them. I have to be patient when they are using SEE. They are working at community school with hearing impaired kids in my hometown.
As for me being an elder from First Nation Reserve in Canada, I am returning to another third year to finish up with my general courses and computer labs studies. The courses is long so I hope to finish it up even if I can not finish by the end of the year of 2009.
Wish you have a good luck at college. What is your career?
