White Horse - 1st seal
Revelation 6:2 - And I saw, and behold a white horse: (Purity of the Gospel ) and he that sat on him had a bow; (fit symbol of the triumphs of the early church.) and a crown was given him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Signifies the zeal of the early church in proclamation of the gospel of Jesus).
That sounds like BUSH!!!!
Red Horse 2nd Seal
Rev: 6:3 - And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
Verse 4 - And there went out another horse that was Red: (Scarlet or red represents sin.) and power was given to him that at thereon to take peace from the earth, and that
they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
We have many homocides nowaday
Rev. 6:5 - And when he had opened the
third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of
balances in his hand.
Justices??
A period of Great Darkness and moral corruption from the time of Constantine and the establishment of the Papacy in 538 A.D. descended on the church. This period is when the darkest errors and grossest superstition sprang up in the church.
Verse 6 - And I head a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the
oil and the wine.
No Gas!!!!
Wheat and Barley for a penny denote the eager engagement of the members of the church after possessions, and the love of money would be the prevailing spirit of the times, for they would dispose of anything for money.
The oil and wine denotes graces of the Spirit, faith, and love, and there was great danger of hurting these under the influence of so much of a worldly spirit. Historians say it was the prosperity of the church in this age produced the corruptions, which finally terminated in the falling away, and setting up the antichristian abominations.
Pale Horse - 4th Seal
Revelation 6:7-8
Rev 6:7 - And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of fourth beast say, Come and see.
Rev 6:8 - And I looked and behold a pale horse: (Sickly and pale color of death) and his name that sat on him was
Death, and
hell followed with him. And power was given unto him Rev: 13:5 power was given him over the forth of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with beasts of the earth.
Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, (Soul's slain under the previous seal, see Gen 4:9 the blood of Abel cries from the ground) and for the testimony which they held:
Verse 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying , How long , O Lord, Holy and true, doest thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Verse 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
The fifth seal raises the question of justice (Gen 4:10) throughout history
men have wondered why wickedness seems to always go unpunished. The fifth seal brings assurance that it will not, but history must first run its course in order to allow as many as possible to accept Jesus Christ and even to die for Him if need be. At the close of the middle ages, the Reformation of the sixteenth century brought a new realization on the part of many Christians of faith and valor of those who had died for their faith under the oppression of the church-state system that had developed.
Chapter 8, Revelation...
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence
in heaven about the space of half an hour.
Thunderings, and lightenings, and an earthquake.
Followed hail.
Trees and grass burnt up...
Forest fires?
Great mountain burning with fire was cast into sea... Hawaii?
Ships and some creatures were destroyed.
Great star from heaven... Wormwood? fell on earth, opened the bottomless pit?
Locusts and Scorpions.
Dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city... New Orleans??? :Ohno:
