24" of snow predicted in Long Island

OMG! NOOO!!!!

I'm not on Long Island, but that's still close enough (an hour) to where I am for me to worry about it!!!
 
Presently, we're under full force of a winter storm this morning--although, I do not know at the moment what we'll be expecting to have with the snowfall accumulations, but may not be anywhere the 24" of snow that's going to be dumped upon the New York Long Islanders...umm...would someone please pass the hot chocolate (with marshmellows preferably :D ) and a 'list' of people brave enough to do some heavy duty shoveling!
 
Forget Long Island! First I wanna know if they have found Buffalo yet from that storm way back when.

Better you than us ;) We are at the bottom end of that storm and expecting 6 to 10 inches (although could be more if it picks up moisture from the atlantic). It started hitting the ground at around 10:30 am. The snow has actually been overhead since last night but evaporating before it hits the ground. Its been coming down for about an hour and so far, just a light dusting but its expected to pick up at any time ;)
 
According to the weather network, my area is expected to get 15 to 30 cm today. It will be lingering over my area all night long in comparison to the other regions.

Alex, now they said 14 to 22 inches of snow. BUT we wont know till tmw with the result.

Thanks god I got all the food stock up last Thursday.. whew!!! but one thing is I need Lettuce.. It went bad already, I bought it last Thurs.. anyway..

i was on the way to hollywood videos to grab a couple of old movies to watch over the weekend..... there were at least 30+ people lined up! so i decided not to wait and went by blockbuster, the whole parking lot was full also. :sigh:
i hope there will be something good on TV tonight hehe

It's a blizzard out there right now here in Rochester, New York. It's been snowing since this morning... and it's HEAVY! :eek:
 
In Minnesota, Yesterday .. all day snow.. stopped last night.. we got good 12-14 inches.. all morning shoveling and snowblowing..
phew..
 
yea yea... snowing snowing here since last night too. but right now its very light.. it should be OVER soon. *growls* UGH... I'll have to shovel the snow tmw instead of today. :P
 
Finally, Minnesota got some! They needed it, especially the farmland....
 
Every 2 hours- My hubby and I are kept contuine shovelling out.. *groan* ache my back. I believe more than 30 cm over ... probably might be about 40-50 cm high here... southwestern area... (sigh)

G'thing, We got nice 4x4 2001 KIA sportage here and drove way quite nicely running like hell smooth.

Who love winter and snowing??? Come over here and get snow bring to your home.. Help your self.. no charge! It's free take snow here... All I want rid snow.. reason why i hate winter. :D
 
It's already SNOW in here since last late nite... now it's stopped and i think it's will snow comin back again tonite *dunno*
 
I havent got mine yet!! But I heard it supposed to be later on tonite. I hope not too much cuz I cant do too much of shoveling cuz of my heart condition. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Stupid neighbor wont help me!!! :pissed:
