Felt so bad for Old lady who steal it at walmart!!!

i will report to walmart that person steal, have to.. cuz of if u dont tell then walmart will arrest this person..

I would have reported it...Some elderly people don't mean to steal. Some suffer from Dementia and/or Alzheimer's Disease. You never know. I remember hearing about a case where a elderly lady stole something from a grocery store. and someone reported it and came out she also was lost and hungry. No charges was filed, but she got the proper help to get back home.

I would report to managers if catch consumers for stealing but experiment on caught of stealing can be difficult, unless consumers are walk toward to front door without paying for it. Stealing does affect profit, we would lose the bonus every quarterly if stealing is serious issue.

However, curious if you saw an old person stolen yards or other… Will you tell employment or not? :giggle:

Over a yarn? I don't think so, I would probably pay for it before the "old" person leaves the store.

*scoff laughing*
Cannot believable.. old lady steal one or piece yarn..
my gosh.. She should have pay cheap yarn but why steal?
Probably she not even think about it.. probably her may have Alzheimer's Disease and doesn't remember what happened.

phillip, i understand how you feel about this older lady :)

if i see one i have to tell sorry

Even eldery people can be career criminals...maybe that woman has a career stealing from Wal-Mart. Never know.

Seriously, I agree stealing should not be ignored, but I like Cherie's solution and will try it next time I feel sorry for a shoplifter. I'll pay for the item she needs.

Yep. I think I remember a time where this grandmother and mother and daughter were all stealing from the same store. Yikes!

mostly wal-marts shoppings in states have serious for more security reasons!

"stealing is stealing mean?" but you cant buy anythings if you have your OWN money to buy anythings at wal-marts or supercenter whether you going to wal-marts if you have jobs they you can buy anythings include foods, clothings, medicine, dvds, etc!!!!!!!

my brother's friend work at wal-mart supercenter in North Little Rock,Ar and he never steals everythings when he works must have kept focus at wal-mart of jobs after you done work at wal-mart they you can ahead buy somethings for dinner, shoppings what you really needs on listing for more reasons.

I never steals at wal-mart before! but years ago i buy dvds for entertainment watch video and the lady at wal-mart in Conway,Ar need check-up of dvds makes sure not getting noise or get NOISE!

im sure elder people cant steals if have money or not! they not going wal-mart PEROID!

GalaxyAngel's post

Yes I second that.

I once withnessed an old woman took a pen and write something on piece of paper and then put in her coat pocket. *senseless* I can tell from her behavior that she does not intend to steal when she already have foods on shopping cart. I remind her friendly that pen supposed be go back to self. She was like  and don't understand me. I pointed my finger to her coat pocket. She looked down her coat pocket and was like :o:Oops: and said that she don't know why she put pen in her coat pocket. I said to not worry. She put pen back to shopping cart and :ty: me friendly for remind her.

I don't like to humliate old people but remind them when I know they did not intend to steal something. I would report if I know form of their behavior for WANT to steal which is not right. Some old people often forget to pay something when small thing in their pocket or in shopping bag.

This late morning, After College class.... I went to Walmart store and at Craft dept., I am looking at crafts for my daughters.....

Guess what, I did see a nice looking a very oldest woman with crave her back and slower! :( Then somehow, I caught her steal the about 6 Yards put in her pocketbook! As a result, that I did not say anything. I was turned back and business my own! :dunno2: Consequently, I felt so bad her that maybe she cannot afford the yards. Ugh, I wish to pay it for her, but I was watching her and see if they re bust her but did not happen… She did walk out the store safety. :D Yay!!

However, curious if you saw an old person stolen yards or other… Will you tell employment or not? :giggle:

Peace.....

How is form of her behavior, you can tell either she did it purposely or not?

I would do the same as Angel "Over a yarn? I don't think so, I would probably pay for it before the "old" person leaves the store." if old people said or upset that they have no money to pay".

Lol... Yarn, $3, oh please... Alot of my friends I know, tend to steal the 99 cents pack of gums!

When I was 14 years old, one day I went to a super market and stole 3 gameboy games and went to the city bus stop waiting for the bus to come by, but two men came to me and caught me. I was charged $250 for stealing 3 gameboy games, plus lied to the polices, also for being underage smoking the cigarette, but luckily that they change my charge to community service which I have to paint a wall at high school instead of paying the $250. Also what's the more embrassement is that the day is the same day I lied to my mom that I was sick so that I don't have to go school.

I was evil boy back there, but now I don't steal anymore, EVER, since I was 16 years old.

I recommend to NOT steal, steal is one of stupid kiddish troublemaker plan!

Yes I can understand that teenagers make mistakes and learn to correct their mistakes. Normal :D

Yes, I would report if I see teenagers or people try to steal something like music, DVD, etc. etc. etc because stealing is wrong and unacceptance. Then they learn their lesson to correct their mistakes. They would continue to steal if I didn't report... I report mean is stealing must be stop before it goes worst!!!

I don't know what I would do if I ever saw one doing this. Maybe it was merely a little misunderstanding, Phillips.

I stole HDTV from Wal-Mart, I put 32' in my under coat. And I was surprise nobody notice me. And I see little boy have been keep point at me.

umm.. no really, i'm bs.

Yeah, if I see old lady steal, I'll report, no matter. Because you know the moral: It's WRONG!.

Guess what, PowerON? I stole a 4x4, few years ago! It was really hard work, though :ugh3:

Just BS here. ;)

Phillips...I understand that you feel sorry for the old lady stealing
a roll of yarn but, but...some yarn?? naaah! I wouldnt feel sorry for her
at all cuz she apparently not starving or she would have stolen some
FOOD, NOT YARN! Like others said...stealing is stealing, period.
I would report her to an employee of Wal-Mart, doesnt matter if it
is a child, old person, young person, homeless, or an alien from Mars!

It looks like you are teaching your children that is okay to steal, Phillips,
crikey!!

If the old lady has dementia, Alzhemers or something and didnt know
what she is doing, then she needs to be evaluated..she might need
help and have her family take care of her. But if she is sane and all, then
she should be punished for the crime.

I dont feel sorry for anybody who steals, period.
Sorry, Phillips but i dont agree with you...............

I'm sure Walmart have security cameras at ceiling to watch the shoppers and bust those shoplifters. Maybe they will review the tapes and maybe she will be caught one day? :dunno:
