After making several weighted sensory items for Adam to take to his new school next week, I'm thinking of making them and selling them on Etsy.com....
what are they? whatever they are, you should! and see if you've opened right door(s). :)

psst; I LOVE etsy!! about to start one there. always surf there, they have handmade stuff you can't find anywhere else! :P
 
am thinking to go to Calistoga tonight.
SO love calistoga.... but you're crazy if you go tonight lol. lovely, authentic wine and cheese there! wanna live/move there...their spooky trees.. :hmm:

They're different weighted 'bean bags' and lap pads and his 'nap snake' that they lay across his back to help sooth him at nap time. He's got sensory processing disorder and the differnt weights and textures help calm him. I figured out I have to do something a little different w/the ,arger lap pad but made some great little bags for him... I used old baby blankets and dried split peas and rice in them.

Yeah my BFF turned me onto Etsy cooool stuffs!
 
Thinking about my first week with my students and how I can make this year a fun one for them. I got a tough group.

Easy. take the year off and let them torture the sub. That will be alot of fun for them. :lol:
 
I do all that and some...I run, I workout for 90 mins 5 times a week, swim laps and etch etc...my stomach just wont go down. It is sooooo weird. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! If I wasnt doing anything and complaining, then yea, I wouldnt have any excuse but I have been working out like a freak for over a year and I still have rolls. :mad:

I would suggest you read some Larry North books. He is excellent. Key for women.....as much as they hate it......is they need to be lifting weights too. His program has helped many women here in Dallas.

ah I see. thank you for explaining. I wonder if I have that too. :hmm: (fell right asleep once I'm buried in cats - cats on me! especially my back). :D lentils are great too. I'd love see some pictures, you can PM me if okay with you! :)

I know the feeling!! take one class that is involved with toning things such as the body cut or something like the list of classes whatever you have in your gym for classes. Those lists of classes that you might have it in your gym. BODY CUT – Class is designed for

I took the body cut class, zumba toning, step internal class, spinning class and tried varies of classes whatever it works or chill out for me like kick boxing or turbokicking. I take one fo them once or twice a month but i stick with spinning, bodycut and zumba toning because i enjoyed them very much. I do work on equipment weighlifting after classes if i feel like so. maybe you can try. remember I am no expert at it but noticing people who takes classes as mine and they seem to manage their weight losses and body become more firm.

I may be wrong but working on keeping very low of eating carb foods for a while but you still can eat carb food but balance with food. After I gave birth to my boy, I was 50 overweight. I was stuck with low carb foods for 6 months and it did help. Then I changed and increase a little more carb eventually slowly within 7 years later. Like i said, i do balance with carb food. *hugs* I know you ve been working so hard to take care of yourself and you still do. i know you wont give up because you are toughie!!!

Take one of those classes that you will enjoy soooo much!!!! I learn something about zumba, but i like zumba toning even better!!!!! take zumba toning class, not just zumba class ok.

I do weightlifting 3 times a week. Maybe it must be a certain food that is preventing it although my diet is very healthy in general. I started running for 30 mins before going to work 2 weeks ago. See if that works. I will check out that book. Thanks!

I've got sensory issues so I know it helps... I'll take some pics later and send them to ya... these aren't perfect they're more of a bandaid fix for now I've never made them before... so remember that when you see them lol!! Next set will be much neater!!

it was NICE and went there for make trade with stranger (softball) I left at like 3ish. And i forgot how much beautiful Calistoga is. WOW.

wines, its your first time, wow. dont get drunk by one cup :]
 
thinking how awesome to be friends again with one of my childhood friends after 18 months since we had a bad argument , we re-new the friendship. =)

Yea cant wait for football season. :) I used to watch college football but stopped since ASU never shows at the right times for me on the East Coast.
