Just started my summer teaching job..let's see the extra $$$ roll in!

Funny, two of my friends are divorcing their hubbies and told me that they want to hang out with me more often. Do I have "single" written all over me? LOL!

I am going to a State Park with two of them on Friday. They both have kids.

When I was single..they were all married...now, I am married, they are all becoming single. It is weird, isnt it?

Ever heard of a hot dog being used as a metaphor for Salvation???

Been raining, raining and raining here for days...next week it's supposed to rain everyday....gonna try to shampoo my carpets tomorrow regardless, put down floor fans to help it dry faster. My old Kirby carpet cleaner is 8 years old, and still working like a charm....expensive when I bought it, but worth every penney with 3 boys!

*yawn, sipping coffee*

slept early. woke up early. why? cuz I have many works to finish for today so I can go riding for a bit later on. maybe go to range.

Wish we could get some rain. It might help around here.

I have my Hoover SteamVac and need to do our carpets, but this heat means that we can't go anywhere. MIL never replaced the carpet after the hurricanes came through 5 years ago and flooded her house. Just had Stanley Steamer come out and clean them. Our allergies are so bad and she doesn't think it's a problem.

I am taking 3 hearing cousins (age 9, 11, and 12) that know no sign language to busch gardens, by myself today. I think I may have over estimated my own confidence and ability...

After. Rough start in the morning things began to look up. We were there from 9am to 6:30pm. Had an amazing day. So glad the kids behaved.

Just got finished with the upstairs, and got the boys cleaning the bathrooms and mopping the floors....taken a little break before I start downstairs, which is the worst! (3 boys and a dog)....All shoes come off at the doors, but spills are noticeable!....I clean my carpets every 3 months...anyway, can't undy why ur MIL would not replace those wet carpets! (Insurance?)....My allergies act up, and I can't deal with mildew/mold at all!
One of my sons will fixing lunch, chili cheese hotdogs while I work downstairs....they are being "real sweet" today!

Must be nice that your boys are helping. MIL had the insurance coverage. She just didn't feel that the carpet was old enough to replace. They had just replaced it in 1998. That's the whole house (one floor). She did have to replace the roof on the 3 bay garage and the houses's roof only missed a few of the tiles and she had extra's in the garage. She will replace the carpet in another 2-3 years and not before she says. She's a pain, but has to be careful with money. She lost somewhere around $1800 a month with FIL's death.
