CI magnet is stuck!

Yesterday, I finally got my new magnet from Cochlear with a strength higher than 5X because I have really thick hair. It's WAY too strong! I think they made a mistake because it's literally stuck to my head! It hurts too much when I try to pull it off, I can feel a lot of pain inside as I'm trying to pull it off. I got really worried and asked my mom to call Cochlear. They told me to leave it alone and to go to the hospital to take it off. I'm off to the hospital now. Sigh...
 
OH Daredevel... I hope you're ok... I never thought about them being too strong!! Let us know how it goes!! :hug:

OMG aww you guys are so sweet. I didn't expect this since I didn't think anyone would believe a CI could get stuck. Now I feel bad for tricking you guys now... :(
 
Since I'm a CI user who knows CI magnets don't get stuck, I knew this was an April Fool's joke.

Yeah I'm CLUELESS about CI's... except that one of the kids at school has lights on his...

Now I feel like a goober for not knowing!!! :Oops:

I would have believed you after ncff07 was talking about his getting stuck to a firetruck when he was showing it off!

I was assuming that also, unless he was using one of those powerful deuterium (sp?) magnets. LOL If adherance is an issue, shave the area where the headpiece rests on, that's what I do.

yea but mine is a 6x magnet and i had taken it out of the coil for show and tell!!! lol :naughty:

I was thinking.....of who in the hell would make a CI magnet, so strong that it will rip out the whole kit and kaboodle!! If you attempted to pull it off yourself. :lol:

This is the first one I fell for! :lol: I have had my guards up all day at work and with my friends.

Then I come here. Dang it!! I got fooled. Because I actually thought...:hmm:

What is going on with her CI being so stuck that caused so much pain to remove it.

Today I played an April Fool's joke on another message board I participate on. I wrote a post saying that I was planning to leave and wished everyone well. All kinds of people responded until I told them it was a joke. I've also done this on e-mail lists as well. I do this every year, but no one catches on. :laugh2:
