Life is boring

When you are boring with your life, and then you decide to use computer. When you find nothing exciting in this forum, or internet as in general. It does make you feel more boring. You can always buy a used bike from Bicycle shop, and go out riding a bicycle, and take photographs, and then you can show off your beautiful pictures in this forum to make some AD members getting jealous. FUN STUFF! :)

Yup, Oklahoma, no because they spread bad rumors about me

There is always going to be someone who will try to spread rumours to make you react in a negative way. And, if you react negative, then they have achieved their goals.

Turn the tables around... Put on that "I dont give a shit what people think" attitude and hold your head up high..:)

or wear a t-shirt that says "please talk about me, and it will make me famous"

I can understand gym's being expensive. But, when you start gaining results, you will feel very good about accomplishments, and may spend your free time focusing on improving your results, thus forgetting about life being boring, etc.

Just think... How will your g/f react/feel when she notices that you have been working out? :) You can achieve a lot between today and the day when you catch up with your g/f.

I also find bike riding to be a good activity to keep the mind alive.

I have been in your situation where I found life is boring and depressing; especially after breaking up with my g/f.

Hmm, true...I do need to gain weight....

How about volunteer work? You can feel good about yourself helping others, and at the same time learn new things. Some places that need volunteers are animal shelters, food banks, Habitat for Humanity, playground clean ups, and camps for poor kids.

Since your job is indoors, volunteer work that is physical or outdoors would be a nice change for you.

Hmm, maybe

1. change to different job
2. be a porno star as David Cockerfield :laugh2:
3. since you failed college million times... probably because it's so boring. how about technical school?
4. move to city where you have a few friends living in there - do what Authentic did
5. if all fails.... be an hero :(

Or take up backpacking. Where I live I am surrounded by 26 godzillion trail heads, most of which eventually hook up to the Ozark Trail System (which BTW does run into Oklahoma).

I work all day indoors and I'm on my feet all day. Backpacking on a few day trails, slowly working my skills up to overnighters. Eventually I can spend my vacations hiking parts of the AT or the CDT. Something like that would be a nice change for me.

While I'm working on that, I'm also enrolling into some night courses at uni to work on my Bachelor's degree. Something to keep my mind occupied instead of the same boring routine of work, go home eat sleep, work, go home, eat, sleep, work, go home, eat, sleep, work, go home eat, sleep. See what I mean here?

I already graduated from technical school

If your life sucks, then it is up to YOU to change it.

I was sitting in my living room one day, and I realized I hate my life - they way it was going. I hated my job, I hated my city, I hated my house, and hell...I hated the couch I was sitting on. So I got up...pulled the couch out of my house and sold it for $5.00. And I decided to move to a new city. I packed my stuff into my car and what didn't fit, I threw into a storage building. I told my boss I quit. I told my parents I love them but can't stick around in the same city. And I drove over 1,500 miles to a place I never had been. To a place where I knew NO ONE. To a place where I didn't even have a job or a place to sleep. And I never looked back.

That's it. If you hate your life, do something about it. Shakespeare says that the stars do not hold our destiny...the destiny is within ourselves.
