Does anyone with an Apple TV device use Netflix on it with subtitles/captions? If so, how easy/hard is it to read the subtitles/captions? I tried Netflix on a Roku2 player a couple of months ago and it uses yellow text with no contrast background. I ended up getting headaches from trying to...
Timeline appears to be April 2012
The link below, in the "summary" section, says:
"• By April 2012, the phase-in of the requirement that broadcast television programming containing closed captions include those captions when being delivered via Internet Protocol (including on stations'...
Thanks for the timely post! I just ordered one...the customer support person who answered my call told me I was lucky because the price was going up tomorrow. Whew! :thumb:
It always amazes me how people think they can get away with it...the Government is very audit-oriented, and will catch fraud, waste and/or abuse eventually in most cases.
Cannot purchase Netbook for advertised $199
I received a promotional email a few weeks ago from HOVRS offering the purple netbook for $199 when using the provided code. When I signed into my purple account, there was no place to put the promotional code in, which resulted in the final price...
I just surprised myself by trying a recent signmail from sorenson on my Bold and it worked!!! I was having email problems yesterday on the Bold and that may have had something to do with it, but now I'm very happy about being able to check signmails via BBY Bold!

It's confusing, I agree, but Harris Communications uses a reseller website to make wireless phone offers to its customers. You can see BBY Bold is the 4th phone down on the list. To avoid subscribing to a voice plan, you have to click on "individual plans" on left side to select the BBY data...
I had the same debate: iPhone vs. BB Curve vs. BB Bold. Bold won because of larger keyboard over Curve, and I didn't care for the touchscreen type of keyboard on the iPhone. In addition, the Curve is not 3G enabled, which is astounding considering that 3G is now the de-facto standard (except...
How well does the "vibrate" on the iPhone work? My wife and I have sprint blackberrys and our 2-yr contract with Sprint has expired, so I'm looking into either the ATT iPhone or the T-mobile blackberry curve 8900. Sprint's pricing is great, but I'm tired of waiting for them to bring on board...
There are pros and cons to both options. If you own the equipment, you may or may not get the expected level of customer support, and the warranties may have limiting provisions that reduce the value of owning your own equipment.
The cost of equipment may deter folks from buying specific...
