Time to predict how many electoral votes will be needed to win the Presidency on Tuesday.... 270 EV's out of 538 is needed to win the election

My prediction going out on a limb is:

Obama 414 McCain 124

I'm even going better..how about a 538-0 blowout of EPIC proportions? It would be nice, but I dont think its gonna happen.

There's a easy way for you to figure out your EV prediction:

U. S. Electoral College

And a link for AD'ers who are not familiar with the Presidential Electoral Vote process:

NARA | Federal Register | U.S. Electoral College

I couldn't get the tally to work. I don't know how many electoral votes Obama will win by, but I know it will be more than 300.

They will tie - WE ARE GOING INTO OVERTIME!! LOL

SC, given the wide margin of electoral votes between Obama and McCain, you really think there will be a tie?

It was meant to be amusing, but then again, anything goes. (Think about it, Kerry was the likely prediction, how did Bush win it?)

Bush won it thanks to a miracle from G*d. :giggle: If it had not been for the state of Ohio being asked to recount their votes, I highly doubt Bush would have won the election in 2004. Same goes for the election re: Florida in 2000.

Hey, using God in this context is crossing the line bro. He does not have a preference for either candidate, as all people are seen the same in his eyes. I'm talking about the fluctuations in probability here.

For your information, I'm not a "bro" (I'm female) and my comment was strictly in jest (note: giggle emoticon). If you can't take a joke, I suggest you take a chill pill and relax.

How do you know that? Do you have a direct link? Reason I asked is cause He says He sets up kingdoms and tears them down. From that reasoning, He does have a preference and always gets his way.

Good point, Secretblend! :D

SCBassist is right, preference for others??? If kingdoms fall, I'd say the devils in the picture.
