I cried every day! Then finally in third grade, my brother is who is ten years older than me dragged me into the livingroom and said "you've got to start standing up for yourself. It's ok to fight back." Then he taught me a few moves. If he hadn't given me that pep talk, I probably wouldn't have had the nerve to hit back for I was raised to be a good girl. Gotta tell ya, it felt damn good to hit the biggest meanest bully in the school two grades older than me and knock him flat in one blow after dealing with his cruelty for years. I still smile with satisfaction when i think about it.
Oh, good girls do kick butt. I was picked on as a child because my father was not born in America and had a thick accent. One day I finally had enough of being physically and mentally hurt that I fought the biggest and meanest bully; she was a piece of work. I found out that day that having only brothers and mostly male cousins comes in handy. All the wrestling and fighting against/with them really paid off. I also learned that I had a powerful right hook at the age of 12. No one ever messed with me after that.
But as far as the school situation, I blame the parents. There is no home training about respect for others. That's why there is so much bullying now. No one ever puts theirselves in another person's shoes. This isn't bullying but harrassment and you should contact the authorities to have everything sorted. Good luck and stay safe.
