I knew it would happened to those people. For last 10 years, I drove past this little ocean town often and I said to myself, those people are stupid enough to live there. What pissed me off the county did not order them to leave the area long time ago and they knew it could happen.


For your information, insurance does not cover people who live up in the hills or mountain. They are on their own risk to lose everything. It goes same for people who live right on fault line or live off the creek. Insurance does not cover for any renters.
 
I dont see it that way,Im sorry, If other nations help us were help them. If not we shouldnt lift a finger to help em. Just like france for example. We need to attack iraq because we need to remove saddam from power. And the democrats said ask the UN if the UN says its ok then youll have our full support. But President charac told the french ambassor to veto the resolution for the US to invade iraq. So if france should ever get invaded we shouldnt lift a finger to fight for them. Id say let em fight theyre own battles.They dont need the US military. If a democrat president ever decides to help france i will join protesters in front of the white house and say ((( NO BLOOD FOR FRANCE!!!! NO BLOOD FOR FRANCE!!!)))

That is the rule of AD. That is the purpose of any forum.

You are free to create ANY thread you want and talk about that specific issue.

It is just that people don't like to go into a thread based on the topic only to find out that it is about something else. No one has time to read all threads all day/night long so this rule helps save their time.
 
do a SEARCH then u can find the thread u WANT to talk abt OR create a NEW thread for ur own topic! :roll: TTT

I don't know if you have any brains left, This is very simple for you both to understand and be aware that when you both go off topic, You both make the thread go down the drain, cause a big confusing and make others angry because you and him cannot back your own opinions up that is related to the topic itself, You both find ways to pull things up that has nothing to do with the topic itself. We have told you both millions of times to stick with the topic itself, How hard is it for you both to understand that? Thanks to others who quoted you.

Mudslides is not enormous disaster like Tsunami in Asia area (over 150,000 deaths...). Californians are well-known for hardheaded people, we usually can take whatever nature throws at us. If shit happens then shit happens. Unlikely you, I surely am not going to blame God or whatever is on your mind about that mudslide incident. Last time I read the USA Today, there are only handful of deaths... not like latest Tsunami disaster.

Remember that we, californians are taxpayers, not spenders like you. So we can deal with mudslide disaster with little or no problem. That kind of nature disaster always happen in every 10 - 25 years. We used to it.

As usual, my heart goes out to all the victims and their families.
