Which beaches?

Yep. I was looking for good beaches in the Southern California area - there are so many of them but I wasn't sure which ones were good, etc. ;)
 
However, I'm a flexible person - if you know of a good beach somewhere outside of Southern Cali, go ahead and tell us all about it! :)

Ocean City, MD is a GREAT beach..LOL! I am biased cuz I am a Marylander. :giggle:

For me, most beaches will do but Mission Bay Beach in San Diego always has a special place in my heart due to so many memories of vacationing there each summer when I was a kid. Last time I was there was 2 years ago and it is still just as great!

I have been there once..Rehoboth Beach but only to go shopping.
 
Been to few beaches...I do like Oregon beaches (forgot name of it), Long Beach, Vince Beach, Lake Tahoe, Pyramid lake, Donner Lake, and few others in Nevada and CA, Salt Lake (I think), and one of beach in RI, (can't remember name of it) so next is N.C. beach! YAY! Oh yea I've been to Ontario beach park but lake is dirty. :( I might go to another beach nearby on 4th of July but wait and see how's weather holds up! Yea yea I've been to few different lakes in CA/NV. I prefer lake than pool! I don't mind ocean but too salty!

Sooo I miss Lake Tahoe!!!
 
South Padre Island, Galveston, and Port Aransas aren't bad at all. But South Padre Island is the best beach in the whole state.

I got to play a golf course near Newport Beach ( I think it called Newport) with my brother and two best friends at the time. It was an extremely memorable day golfing-one of the funnest and enjoyable rounds of golf in a long time. This was about 8-9 yrs ago.

Actually the Great Salt Lake has a couple of great beaches to hang out at. The water is extremely salty though and somewhat shallow lake, so water gets very warm in the summer. Unfortunately I have not been to Great Salt Lake beach in years. The lake seems to be receeding significanlty in last 10-15 yrs.
 
Yea me too...the last time I went when I was a kid. I don't really remember much but I do remembered tasted the salt water yuck! LOL

You should check out the beach. Really nice and clean.
