I have been looking for a denim jacket (the kind that go just to the waist). I looked in several stores. I haven't tried Old Navy. I found one in a used clothes store but I want the one with better pockets. If you have a denim jacket, what store did you find it in?? Thanks!

Ebay
Craigslist
Overstock.com
Thift stores
Goodwill

rip some jeans, sew them into jacket. That's 2-cent thought.

Usually, jackets are easy to find during cooler seasons than warmer seasons. Since it's summer (or late spring), it will be harder to find jackets.

So, the best place to look would be online... Sears, JcPenney, eBay, etc...

Right now, LL Bean has a really nice woman's denim jacket, waist length, with lots of pockets. And it is on sale.

I have my own Denim jacket without a hood. My aunt bought it for me from Eddie Baur Store. It cost about 50 dollars. You should go to store. But You need to wait until before fall season begin. You have to check the Sunday newspapers with ads daily. You can find a Denim Jacket on sale. You can go to Ebay, landend's, LL Bean and other stores. Or Jcpenny, Macy's, Sears.

Go back to 1980/early 1990's, denim jacket was common.

I bought my first one in mid to late 70's from a store that sold only anything denim (jacket, jeans, dress, etc). I doubt that store exists now. That first jacket of mine - I wore it until it was so soft and comfortable. Somebody wait until my last day of my high school before stealing it.

Now I bought a denim jacket from a thrift store. I like the first jacket because of the cut of the front pockets was at angle so to make it easy to put my hands in. The present one's pockets was cut straight up and it is bit difficult to find the openings to put my hands in. Of course it is bit stiff and I will have to break it in. That is why I want to look around and hoping to find a jacket with that kind of pockets.
