I'm curious, what was your first R-rated movie you saw?

I saw Robocop when I was age 7, it was the first R-rated movie. I didn't realize that movie have so many violence and I thought it was supposed to be superhero movie like superman or batman.

So how about you?

I saw RoboCop... well, I think my frist R-movie was What the man want from woman (not remmy correct name). Julie Andrews and Bert Reynolds plays in it Also, I remmy 2nd R- movie was Red Heat.... I knew I am not allow to watch them because my parents are strict...

"Personal Best" -1982 with Mariel Hemingway and Patrice Donnelly.

There were incredibly explicit lesbian scenes that my virgin 10 year old eyes was so intrigued about learning a whole new world!!

I saw "Platoon" when I was 16. It came out in 1986.

I was dating someone at the time, and we were on a date. Before he took me, we agreed that I could pick the restaurant, and he could pick the movie. Looking back, I wish *I* had picked the movie, and he had picked the restaurant. Platoon was just too violent for my liking! :giggle:

Who knows I think night of the living dead but could be others before that only at friends tho my mom would kill me lol.

OH I remember!!! It was "Looking for Mr. Goodbar". Wooo I was too young for that, I stayed up very late for HBO on cable without my mom knowing

When I was little girl.... My first watch movies.... *HORROR* Damn my parent! Called "Bear Attack" I forgot what name tilte.. about 1975's to 78's that was very oldest movie...
And also I've watch 2nd movie another Horror... "Amytville" (hell house)

my cousin derek was soo sneaky... My cousins and i was suppose to watch golden child something?? but nooo he got us to watch porky's LOL I'm like DEREK ur bad, but lucky we didn't get caught. haha

i think it was Carrie or Salem's Lot when i was around 8-9 years old -- horror flicks for those who might not be familiar -- based on Stephen King's novels

Did you mean "Victor Victoria"? The Blake Edwards movie - it didn't have Burt Reynolds in it but James Garner and Robert Preston.

My first R rated movie was 'The Thing' with Kurt Russell and Richard Masur.

im surprised you peeps know what movie u saw the first time which is R-rated... i can't even remmy mine :-X

Movie ratings went into effect on Nov.1, 1968. By that time, I was already 17 years old, so I was "legally" able to see R movies anyway. I really don't remember the first "R" movie that I saw. By the time I was 18, I was working in a movie theater, so I was exposed to all the movies that came to the theater.
