Well I'll include my early morning tornado drill we had to perform thanks to the weather alerts. I brought my DD downstairs and slipped her boots on her feet and my mom and I also had our shoes on as well in case we had to move at a moment's notice. Mom put the TV on local weather and there was a tornado bearing down right at us and we later had another that was just south of us headed Northeast then it turned slightly and went between here and the neighboring town. I finally got to bed around 3 this morning after all was said and done. Of course I had my DD lay down on the couch and sleep and she had no idea we were under a tornado warning twice last night. :shock: I finally asked God to stop teasing us! :lol: Well ironically I woke up to sunny skies this morning and if it weren't for the damage everywhere - you would have never guessed there had been bad storms last night. Now it's cloudy and COLD againg. BRRR!!!!!! :cold:

Job hunted some more in DC area. I learned that I need to let things go in order to write a new chapter in my autobiography. That means letting some people go even if it's extremely painful and they mean the world to me. I need to be alone and figure out the rest of my life. This is about me now.

Now, I shall resume my freelance work and attempt to keep my brand new iPhone away from me since it's a huge distraction! Anyone have words with friends? :lol:
 
Set up tables and boxes for Earth Day festival, attended festival and now at the gym. Tonight SanJose Giants minor league baseball. (not going to Oakland after all)
 
Finally deactivated my myspace account. Haven't used that thing in over 3 years.
 
I did it! Taught the mo rning class a dance :) Thanks to my teacher for allowing me to do this one in her class.
 
I had a slightly lazy morning. Baked a cake, went to 2 stores, took MIL to hair dresser and her senior ministries group at church then she & I went out to eat, after coming home, I frosted the cake. It is for a bake sale at church tomorrow. It is a lemon cake with lemon frosting.
 
Yesterday, had a birthday party cookout/night of dancing. Had a great time with my friends! So glad that I am not hung over today considering how much I drank. My night ended when a midget with man-heels stomped on my foot bruising it really badly while dancing. After that, the pain became too intense and I just didnt want to drink nor dance anymore. Now, my foot is all purple/blue on on side. At least I can walk on it fine so that's good.

It was a crazy party because of the violent storm with tornados in the area, spoken English and Spanish plus ASL were the languages, the midget attacking my friend on the dance floor, my dress flying up showing my underwear to all of my freinds, and then my friend passing out drunk at my house. lol

I try to be fun but I do have my days when I am bad company. :D
 
So far I am just thinking .. One thing I'm thinking of is how jealous I am of Shel's location -- "in the land of beautiful cherry blossoms" !!!
 
Well – busy morning this morning. MIL fell while getting ready for church. We went to the ER, no new fractures or breaks. They saw the problems with her shoulder break from 2 years ago. She basically has a muscle strain and bruising. She and I are both tired after spending a few hours in the ER and getting her pain medicine.

Other than that, I had already gotten dressed and ready for church when this happened and so haven't done anything so far except spending the time in the ER and the pharmacy.
 
:ty: She is finally sleeping a little. She doesn't take pain well at all.
