What causes AIDS and its outbreak?

Heh. I like these pro and con posts about sex. Actually based on many evidences, I start to think that sex is not the fault. Yes, it can be transfer thru sex but it is not that fast. I am still stand with my vaccination comment. How many do you think people take vaccinates? Altogether, it is much more than sex. For sure, in future, studies will confirm my suspicious.

You're welcome, Angel! I agree! There are excellent points of view coming out of this thread, and I think it's good that people can express their opinions. I just don't like it when I offend someone, so that's why I apologized. I reaaaaally don't like hurting anyone's feelings and it wasn't my intention to hurt yours. :)

What I learned from different studies, I suspect that immune-suppression or low immune system is the fault in these STD issues. That's my opinion based numbers and numbers of studies.

I always think women can't give men STDs... Men are the ones
giving women or men or to unborn babies STDs. But I don't know.

Anyone can carry STD, such as syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia or herpes.

You need to get your facts straight, do some search because you will find the answers otherwise than in homosexual. HIV is passed by having unprotected sex, or sharing needles or with a person who has HIV

To protect yourself from getting AIDS, Use Latex male condom or female condom when you have sex even if you are pregnant because it pass to the baby in the womb, Do not share needles for drugs, steroids or tattooing.. Not just homosexual, Stop saying that you can get HIV too just like everyone else if you don't protect yourself.

AIDS Is far more important in research than hearing.. stop being so selfish and think about "we the people".

So, can you explain to us why is there over a thousand of Catholic priests that are homosexuals who have been involved in child sexual abuses and raping boys?

It doesn't matter about the comparity of which is worser sin...both are the same sins. No more or less. Homosexuality is spreading and adultery is spreading out there, too. Blah. Oh yeah and judging on others before the facts is a sin, too.

One study find out that if a person is deficient in Vitamin A, the risk of HIV infection increases by 20 times - that could be one of the reasons for high HIV infection rate in Africa - many of them are malnourished.

Some people have genes that prevent HIV reproduction and that is why some people are resistent to HIV infection despite repeated exposure to HIV. It's well documented in homosexuals who have repeated expsure to HIV yet never got infected.

There are reasons for high HIV rate in the homosexual community in USA - anal sex can cause bleeding and once the blood is in contact with infected semen, it will cause HIV infection with 90% certainity. Also, many gays with HIV have history of drug abuse - meth and poppers. Virtually all POZ gays who have KS (skin cancer) used poppers. Some gays are chronic sex addicts and they have hundred or thousand of partners - they are high risk of contracting HIV. Even though HIV is highly concentrated in the gay community, it does NOT mean most gays have HIV - most don't have it.

You have something to back your statement up that there are higher rates for homosexual with HIV in the USA. I would like to see that proof of evidence to back your claim up, If you can find something that shows what you have stated above, That would be great...:)

:wtf: ...where did you get the absurd idea that hemorrhoid is a STD???!!!!!! There are lots of women who develop hemorrhoid after giving births.

It is much more common than you think and it has nothing to do with anal sex or whatnot. It can be caused by constipation and other issues too.

AIDS statistics
People living with AIDS
At the end of 2003, the CDC estimates that 405,926 persons were living with AIDS in the USA.

Of these,

36% were white
42% were black
20% were Hispanic
2% were of other race/ethnicity.
Of the adults and adolescents1 with AIDS, 77% were men. Of these men,

58% were men who had sex with men (MSM)
22% were injection drug users (IDU)
11% were exposed through heterosexual contact
8% were both MSM and IDU.

Of the 88,815 adult and adolescent women with AIDS,

63% were exposed through heterosexual contact
35% were exposed through injection drug use.

An estimated 1,998 children were living with AIDS at the end of 2003.
 
First of all, someone said the Catholic Church teaches Homosexuality is a sin. OK, let's clear this up. The Catholic Church has never, ever taught this. There is no sin in "being". What the Catholic Church has taught is that homsexual sex is a sin. The main reason why it is a sin is because it is outside of marriage because the Church only accepts a marriage between a man and a woman. The Church teaches that hetrosexual sex outside of marriage is just as sinful as gay sex.

According to all scientific research, most AIDS cases are in Africa and in other developing third-world countries. And in these areas, straight people have the most cases of AIDS. Often, the men in these areas visit prostitutes who have AIDS and catch the disease. Then they will go home and force their wives to have sex with them.
