It's long to write everything what the magazine says but I make a short example what I read about a lady's story in FRAU VON HEUTE magazine.
A lady (34) who was infected AID by her first love when she was 19 years old. Her first love got AID through blood transfusions and keep it secret from her.
She take care of her healthy postively. She went to doctor for blood test every 3 months and she living on medication. Her first love died at 4 years ago.
She look something to positive her life to get it out of her mind. Her dream wish to set up cafe business.
She met other bloke and fall in love at 3 years ago and told him that she's HIV positive. He kiss her and told her that he want to keep her. They live together since last September. They are happily to paint the rooms into apricot, yellow and red. They wish a baby. The doctor said that they can produce a healthy baby. Those new make her happier.
Her story make me weepy..... She's very brave to positive her incurable illness. I can't image what I do when I were in her shoes. I admire her for that because she wont' let anyone feel sorry for her.

I'm not sure what you really mean, though. Maybe we're talking about different things... It was probably better (more safer) back then.. but it's still a necessity today to be careful in my opinion, if you're gonna hit bars and screw anyone that walks without knowing their health status.
)), very nice posts and informations! Thanks for translating

Okay? I realize that you have an issue with the word, and I will try not to use it again.
