What are your favorite science fiction movies?

Star war!

how about the Back to the Future series? Children of Men is also a great movie. And this is a parody of a bunch of sci-fi flicks, but I love Spaceballs.

Right now I'm working on getting through Doctor Who (the 2005 series)

Hello,
I am a student Filmmaker currently working on my junior production. The main character is a deaf spy. I was hoping someone could help me out and give me some ideas of how a deaf person might use their heightened senses to help them navigate through an apartment in which they where trying to gather information from. Thank you!

At first, I watch on several shows or any other movies which they mention something with Soylent Green. I didn't get it until I decide to research and found that film to watch via DVD. Then I re-watch on some show and I finally get it. So funny!

and enjoyed Gattaca also, was thinking about that when I saw this thread.

Hubby and also both saw Matrix together and that's probably HIS favorite. I loved it too.

lots of others I like, don't really have an "all-time favorite".

Does 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' could as a science fiction movie? If so, then I have to add it to my list of favourites
(The brilliant opening track is called "Science Fiction, Double Feature")

Gattaca made a huge impression on me when it first came out.

I identified with the protagonist in a lot of ways. I want to go to space, too, just like him. I have something that other people say prohibits me from going out there, just like him.

And someday, I hope to make it out there, maybe as a tourist on Space Ship Two, or as a resident on one of the Bigelow Areospace space stations.

Enemy Mine
I loved the old movies of Flash Gordon ! They're so fake looking that is great!
