Shes only 14?? good grief!...thats terrible that she is doing all that crapola!
she is clearly heading for big time grief if she keeps it up!..how sad!

Last Night I Went To Wal Mart And Do The Shopping Then Had To Go One Lanes That Would Sell The Ciggy And It Is Blooodddyyy Long Lines With Big Load Almost Everybody In The Line As They Want To Buy The Ciggy .... I Think It Should Add Two Lanes Like One Side And One Another Side In One Location It Would Speed Up ... Or I Would Fed Up And Go Somewhere Else Like Gas Station Or Something Like That To Get Ciggy ... Oh Boy ....

im not surprised with that sort of thing happening KW68 and i know it sucks! some stores would set up that kind of policy and i agree they should at least consider opening up another lane where theres a sharing of the ciggy shelves and would then speed up the line at checkout -- or perhaps 1 line for 20 items or less and the other line for more than 20 items qq perhaps thats another thought :dunno: if the store would consider that

I do remember the day I bought DOOM Collector's Edition at Wal-Mart. When cashier checkout that game, she did ask for my ID card but my mother told her my age. She did checkout it. Odd.
I did played DOOM II when I was young boy. It looks very cheap violence to me.
I thinks I'll stick to GameStop stores.

Oddly, they blame DOOM for the Columbine Shootings!

My Advice you contact the store manager about it and ask him to see what he can do about it... if you're speaking of where I work... contact Keith Mays @ Walmart smile

Target doesn't sell any Cigarettes and this doesn't apply to all the stores, just some of them.....

I find nothing wrong with a store asking for ID to buy cigarettes even though we may be old enough to do so, If someone asked me I would feel flatter since they think I am too young instead of feeling too old here heh!

btw Banjo, Cigarettes are not the only ones that gives you cancer! :bump:

Target does sell some diet pills, R-rated movies, CD musics, and video games so they do ask for their ID.

Not only walmart asking for the ID under the age of 40.. but also Walgreen, Kmart, and more.. Why is that because one girl I met two weeks ago, i thought she looks 30 to 35 years old and what a fine woman...

In a few hours later, my classmate said he( who is 22 years old) is a friend of her and and said,"she is 14 years old." I was like 'WTF? are yoiu bullshitting me?" He said No and called her to come and introduced herself to me. She showed me her student ID and I looked it and said" Damn.. no offense" I just surprised as hell.. the ID shows the class of 2008 and DOB(July 17, 1989)

Yup... I do know that she smokes weed and has taken 'E' before -- and she smokes cigarettes!
Her own mother smokes as well and is allowing her to smoke! Unreal, hey?

I'm just so glad that the horrid children aren't coming over here anymore -- both of us are relieved that they're not over here anymore...ahh, the peace! :D

Some places do as for ID when selling games due to the ratings of games. Not many stores do enforce it, but I did when I worked at Blockbusters.

Good, and I support the policies to ID people for Mature-rated materials including pornography magazines, video games, music CDs, movies, and many more 100%.

Why?

Because it'll prevent more cases where parents are stupid enough to sue companies responsible for these materials. Remember the Columbine shootings?

They tried to sue Hollywood and the game makers, it was something like $250 million or something. But it got dismissed, thank god.

These cases are nonsense, and that's why people need to ask people for their IDs. Parents can buy movies and games for their kids, because it is their RESPONSIBILITIES because they BOUGHT the games, not the kids.

I hope to see it enforced even more without having to ban anything. I like playing games, and some of them may be violent, same with the movies.

But in the end, it's all entertainment, period.

Exactly... like the Columbine High School Shootings. They blamed Doom and The Matrix. Well, the game is rated M and the movie is rated R. The only way those kids could have gotten their hands on the game is if their parents bought it for them or the store sold it when they shouldn't have. The only way those kids could have seen the movie was if they went to the movie with their parents or the movie theater let them in when they shouldn't have. That leaves 2 answers... blame the parents or the store. Either way, the parents should have known what was going on in the first place.

I know, it's sad. It's probably one of two reasons. Either the owner of the account gave these kids permission to rent these games or those Blockbuster Video stores suck at customer service. My Blockbuster Video had one of the best customer services in the region. When you sign up for Blockbuster Video, there's a part where you sign up other people to your account. This is usually the father adding his wife and kids. After that part, there's an option asking for permission for those listed members whether they can rent "rated" movies or not. Most parents don't pay much attention and say "yes", which allows their kids to check out those movies. I always made it my duty to remind customers when they are registering for membership. As I go through the applications in front of the customers, I will verify the name as well as whether their permission is permitted. Usually, they say... "Oops, I didn't realize that. No, I don't want my kids renting R movies." and problem solved! :thumb:

For the last few days, i have been hearing rumors about Walmart has been asking everybody for their ID when purchasing cigarettes, I know this guy who is 57 years old and he told us that when he went to buy cigarettes, they asked him for his ID, he was like WTF? my ID?? this old man here?? yep, gotta see your id regardless of your age!..So yesterday, i decided to see that for myself, i had to go Walmart to pick up a few items after work so i asked my hubby if he needs some cigarettes, he said yeah get me 3 of them..so went up to this certain checkout where they sell cigs, i told the clerk i want 3 Marlboros Lights, in soft packs..said sure thing and after he checked off my items and before he rang up the cigs, he ASKED me for my ID!! I was :-o , so stunned and i said hey, do i look 16,18 years old? he looked at me and impassively said..well, honey no but i gotta ask for your id!
