yeah, only a true imbecile would use a clone sn and think they could get away with it, and only another imbecile of the same caliber would back up their actions.
 
Why hide? If I have an opinion about another member, I would just say it. I have done it before without having to make another name. Just be respectful with what you have to say.

i agree with those who has said "why hide" and similar type comments -- i personally find it quite immature too with the cloning of other members' SNs :roll:
 
I found this is very very FUCKIN immature to a clone a screenname to make it look bad.. what a immature.. :roll:
 
i used to have 2nd acct different name in AD but in a week i discovered i like sticking with one name only in AD cuz its so complicationed lol two different names, two different pw and plus if i didnt inform anybody it would confuse them so i never used 2nd name again since and i think its already deleted :-P anyway my point is... there is no point in creating 2nd name in AD unless someone was harassing you or something like that ... i agree with alex about not creating 2nd name just to bash. now thats truly dumb :-P

(btw im one of those people who loves to try and get inventive with names :-P like making few names then use one that was more comfortable with me lol)

Yes, it sounds coward and 2 faced.

I'm agree that it's an imbecile to make 2nd account name to hide her/himself.

I would ask Alex to renew my account name if I don't like my account name anymore. (I know my account name will stay FOREVER but I only say the example).

I agree with you, Matt. If I need to have a word with one of ADers, I don't post in public forum, but email thru PM and use soft wordings to reason with this ADer. It usually works much better this way in real life too, not just on PM...talk nicely to this person and point out why I think this wasn't proper or make suggestions. I would post in public forum if I know it will not embarrasse or hurt AD by my posting.

Hey, after reading some of your message. I read Alex's message very carefully. From what I understand, he does not mean that we are not allowed to have multiple names. What he REALLY means is that if one decided to bash or flame on someone, he or she is NOT allowed to create another name to mask who is the real attacker. Alex would investigate on AD names once there is bashing or flames going on and compare with other names. If he catches this person doing this he will ban this person. So, in other word, he meant that abuses is NOT to be tolerated here on AD.
I do have problem with some people here, I just simply block, or ignore them. This way, I don't have to worry about problem being esclated to where I really don't want them to be.

I haven't seen any rules concerning multiple sn's, but Alex made it quite clear that we shouldn't be cloning other's sn's. It gets confusing when two people have the same sn, and it is in extremely poor taste for someone to copy your identity and then make personal comments about you that other's might not recognize. Say, for instance, that someone knew that you had a really big nose that you were self-conscious about and they copied your screen name, diehardbiker66, and then used as their signature "hog with a schnoz". How would that make you feel? I say that only a coward would do this because anyone with a backbone and an ounce of intelligence would use their own screen name and make it clear who they are before personally attacking someone else in such a degrading manner.

Fortunately on this website, it isnt too hard to figure out who is stupid enough to resort to such childish tactics.
