The information you hear from media are mostly hearsay and opinions and most of them don't have the facts right.
The Wolfson Report has all the facts. It concluded that there's NO evidence of abuse and that Michael is a very devoted caregiver. It noted that for 13 years, Terri never had a bedsore which clearly showed that Michael made sure Terri is well cared for.
Why did 11 courts (all the way to Supreme Court) turned down the appeal? If there was evidence of abuse, they would review it but they didn't. They READ the Wolfson report and concluded that there's NO evidence justifying the need to keep Terri alive. Keep in mind that most of the judges were appointed by conservative Republicans.

They show that Terri was truly gone, so killing her body didn't kill her because she was already gone with no way to come back. The only way I could think of bringing her back would be to replace the lost neurons with the same connections with the same information. Nobody had the technology to copy that information before Terri collapsed, so we don't have that information with us, so we can't put it back into her head by replacing the neurons.

The money for her treatments, courts, etc are gone.
