Wow, I didn't know that disabled people are require to die even if they breathe on their own?

There are a lot of people on wheelchairs, doesn't stop them for having a life, Terri doesn't have to walk to have a life, Terri doesn't have to speak to have a life, Her breathing is life, and she did had a life and Michael took that all away from her, by throwing her at Hospice without proper treatments she needs, Did you noticed that Terri had no rehabilitative therapy since l991? He gave up in 1991 and kept on fighting to end her life, he won, guess what Terri had no voice to speak her wishes. What gives us a right to say, Yeah Terri should go?! What type of people are you? It makes me sick how people think it's okay to take someone's life just because she didn't recieved the right treatment that should been given to her to begin with and should have stick with a better plan. But, Nobody cares. :(

Yes, we have seen the scan, but....

Just because Terri was not the same person she was before she collapsed doesn't mean she should be denied love and care, whether she was disabled or otherwise. :( She WAS a human being, not something to be disposed of when she was no longer any good to her husband or the community. : p And her parents HAD every right to love and care for her, no matter what, didn't they? But they too were denied the right to love and care for her, and that is truly tragic.

p.s. my opinion is that Michael and his newly wedded wife are in for money, that is why. That's all they ever care about.... MONEY!! : p
Amen Amen Amen!!! :applause:

That is the way I see too. Liebling may support Michael but nothing she says will change my mind about Michael. He wanted Terri to die for a long time so he could be a free man to remarry and keep all the money. That shows he is a cold hearted person!!!

*sigh*

I read where Michael married his long-time girlfriend - and let me tell you, there was no money left from the settlement... in fact what was left of the settlement (about 40,000) had been put in a trust to pay off the last of the legal fees, burial fees, and assorted expenses.

Her last brain scan before the autopsy showed close to no activity and there were seven neurologists that said she was in a vegative state.

Upon autopsy, it was found that she had massive and irreversible brain damage and was blind - although there was no evidence of an eating disorder.

Although I'm pretty much divided about this issue, what I consider ... it is done. What has happened, is done. Terri died, and life went on.

Period.

It could be...perhaps the money from settlement is mostly gone...BUT, Terri STILL had quite a sizeable estate left that Michael was to inherit ONLY after she die. : P

Only seven neurologists? Compared with
33 affidavits from doctors and other medical professionals contending that Terri’s condition should be reevaluated. About 15 of these affidavits are from board-certified neurologists. Some of these doctors also say that Terri could benefit from therapy. (

But yeah, Terri is gone and we can't bring her back. How frustrating. And while life indeed goes on, Michael will always be viewed with great comptempt for the rest of his life. :squint:

One thing.. there have no evidence againist Michael...

How's smart he is...
Prevouis "May" Possible He did abused Terri while agruing... and fell flight down the stairway.... <~~My theory!

Terri did cries and pain... Michael doesn't want her help.. and few hours later.. Oh pretend he did surprise, how's Terri collasped... then call 911
I remmy I've read prevouis article.. and cannot remmy which the link..

Reason why there's no evidence againist Michael...
What more... Terri was bullimia (sp) because Michael force her thin body not fat body!
I believe some sort of pieces puzzle..
That reason why Michael is happy... Terri is veggie state All He kept pretend "I willing do anything help Terri" Full B.S.

Reason he want avoiding .. how come he didn't pay visit his wife all the time.. why he stopped visit.. none of caring for his wife.. buh bye.. and decide adultery another woman...

SAD!
Think about theory!

I see the beginnings of some power play among some members to use social pressure to get some others over to their side. I think this should stop before someone gets hurt and friendships damaged.

This is life. We all had a chance to speak up. Life goes on.........please.

Opposite to me, I think it´s unfair for anyone to treat Terri like doll and do what they want with her BECAUSE she CAN´T defend herself and CAN´T choose anything she wants to wear... She CAN´T make herself pretty... She CAN´T talk... NOTHING but like doll... It´s unfair and no life for her because her body is "dead". It´s very selfish of anyone to want her remain alive and treat her like doll and can do what they want with her... How could anyone know she like or not... because she CAN´T talk. How could you call her as human who can´t do everything like normal people.

p.s. my opinion is that Michael and his newly wedded wife are in for money, that is why. That's all they ever care about.... MONEY!! : p

No, Michael spent a lot of money on Terri´s treatments, courts, burial, etc. until no money left for him.

The only person that suffer for 15 years is Terri, it took Michael 2 or 3 years to suffer without a feeling love by a woman, which he found one, he was no longer suffering....

Yes, Terri suffer because the parents refused to let her go to have her peace.
If Michael don´t care about Terri then he would of give his legal guardian up and let Terri´s parents do what they wants and enjoy his life but he doesn´t. He spend a lot of money to fight very hard for 15 years to let Terri go. It shows how much he care about her. He suffered for her because he knows she suffer.

It's Terri's body and it should be her decision....

How could Terri decide because she can´t talk? Terri and Michael never thought about Legal Will until the happened. How could they know? It´s big s**t for them because there´re no proof of Terri´s wishes. Those situation wake us up and talk about our plan... We thank Terri for wake us up.

As I said before and once again, Michael said at FIRST he didn't know if this is what Terri wanted, then he changed his story around, so therefore there's was no wishes.....

Michael could have talked to her friend, who knows.....Anyone can lie in court

I can´t answer to this because nobody knows either it´s true or not what Michael or parents claimed... Word against Word. I´m neutral to this. All what I care about Terri and want her go peace.

No, it wasn't her parents, it was Michael himself, some people hated the fact he cheat on his wife, and wants to kill her by starving her to death.....That made many people angry inculding me!

How could the people included us know about Michael´s private life? Did Michael told us about his private life? No, it´s Terri´s parents who open Michael´s private life and label him as bad person to the press and everyone in the world.

Subject about remove feeding-tube is not right. I can´t understand Florida law system.

A lot of people here in Europe want to see Terri go and have her peace. Michael´s private life is none of our business... Terri´s parents has no right to control everything since they know Terri married him in first place and get on well with him......

Of course she will see Michael as a good person when many of us don't see him as one.....

She stay married to him which it means that she trust him. He did not abused her during marriage life before accident comes. They have been married for 5 or 7 years with no children which it´s easy for her to leave him if he´s lousy husband but she didn´t. It means that they were happily married. She know him than us.

If Roadrunner did that to me, I'll come down from Heaven and hit him with my wings.... :giggle:

:D

I watch my hubby & children with *smile* when I´m on heaven because I want to see them happy instead of suffer for me. I don´t want my hubby to neglect our children to worry about me but focus our children´s future and happy... All what I wish for them is MOVE ON their life.

No, I support Michael´s right as husband, not starving her to death. I know it´s not right to remove feeding-tube to starve his wife to death but what could we do because of that law system. Perhaps everyone should work together to write a letter to local government to ban "remove feeding-tube" but do something with injection to save suffering and make a new law.

How do you feel if your parents control everything on you and ignore Roadrunner or against Roadrunner? I bet you would not like it because you want Roadrunner do everything for you because he knows you more than your parents. Right?

You can´t compare Terri with normal disabled people... There´re disabled people who can TALK, can do EVERYTHING, can TRAVEL, can PLAY, can do any SPORTS, have FEELING, can CLEAN THEMSELVES, can SHOWER, can LOVE, can go to BATHROOM, can CHOOSE anything what they LIKE, can do with COMPUTERS or WRITING then more... more.... more... but Terri? I witnessed her on TV... Oh dear... it´s impossible... Her body is "dead". It´s unfair for her to stay like this. I think it´s SELFISH to have Terri to stay alive forever like this because she didn´t know what she really want because she CAN´t do everything... no fair.

I will accept if the doctor says that it´s 50% to 90% chance to improve my health but with Terri, the doctor know it´s no chance to improve her health which it mean is NO chance.

Michael gave up after try everything to improve Terri´s healthy because the doctors confirmed that it´s no chance for her to go back normal. It´s hard for him but he has to let her go.

ANSWER MY QUESTION!!!!!

WILL YOU CONDEMN TERRI'S PARENTS FOR ENCOURAGING MICHAEL TO DATE WOMEN?!?!?

I once read an article last year in which just a few hours after Terri passed away, Michael went straight to the court to claim her estate. The article was from The Empire Journal . Unfortunately, the link no longer works, and The Empire Journal has now required paid membership to read the Terri Schindler-Schiavo saga in its archives. But I do have the screenshot to prove that Terri did have estate and Michael had been keeping his eyes on that for quite a while.

This is the screenshot here:

(Sorry, the link does not work...it now required paid membership to read the entire article. The screenshot I took is from Link )

I'm pretty aware that Terri would never get her full health back...but, even if there was no no chance for her to recover from her it is not fair to consider her less than a human being just because she was unable to take care of herself. A person with a damaged brain IS a disabled person and also a human being too... and deserves a loving care as much as any able-bodied person. I'm pretty sure that had Terri been alive, she would NOT be treated like a doll...she would be treated like a beloved daughter and sister and a percious person by her family. :/ Human life is just too precious to be snuffed out like that.

To answer netrox's question

There seems to be conflicting reports that Terri's parents did encourage Michael to date, hoping that he would forget all about Terri and move on with his life and his new girlfriend, but Michael would not give Terri up or turn her over to them. But, so far, we just don't have any concrete proof yet.

Liebling,

You're missing my whole point, Life is breathing, We breathe air, we eat food, we drink water to keep us alive. I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable, rather they are disable, in vegetative state, deaf, blind, people who are living with aids, people who take medication for life, etc. The real meaning about life is love, caring and cherish those you love. Does it matter what Terri was in? Shouldn't matter to anyone. Love her as the way she is. Nobody said life is ever gotta be easy, Terri had a hard years of her life being buried in one place for years, without proper treatments. You have to sit back and think how would u feel that someone wants to take your life without your word of approve what fate you want to either live or die.

Since Terri never had a living will, Does that give Michael any rights to order her to die? No, he doesn't. It might be easy for some of you who thinks well Terri looks so horrible she needs to die, we are speaking of a human being that breathe on her own, we speaking of a human being that was brought in life by God. Now if it was her time to die, It would be on God's terms not on our terms. We have no right to kill someone based on what you think it's best for her or for Michael, or for the world. Perhaps there's a lesson in this for us all. ;)
