I bought the whole miniseries on DVD. I love it. We must never stop asking questions, and I think that's the whole point of the movie.. other than the possibility of ETs out there affecting bloodlines on earth. :) Whoops, spoiler. That may be true or that may be not true. Who knows?

1. Are there ETs out there already among us?
2. Is there a gov cover up?
3. Were humans artifically created by ETs once upon a time, and that we do have ET DNA anyway?
4. Why now? Why is there all the rush of interest on paranormal stuff?
5. Is there a new race, starting with a new breed of children here on earth - called the Indigo or Crystal children (think Allie in the movie)?
6. Where will this all take us to?
7. Have people always known, and this was always in ancient manuscripts? Think Zecharia Sitchin's earth chronicles and all.

Well, there you have it... :) Any more questions you are pondering about?

Oh yeah, in Taken... this smart little girl thought people were being mean just because they're scared. That was a great insight.

Steel, it's good that you're asking questions. Hope you were prepared for the answer that you asked the question to. Actually, it's one of many theories how humankind came to be.. if you have read the earth chronicles, especially Genesis Revisited by Sitchin, you will understand that the author has interpreted some ancient sumerian writings and the "original" hebrew version of the Bible as a series of factual accounts about ETs having had created the Primitive Worker aka the Adam to "till" the earth (mining for gold, not for the money but for protection of their lil planet shield or whatever it is called, atomsphere) after some revolution made by other ETs who found the mining too hard for themselves. They (Enki and other ET scientists took the evoluting apefolk and added their "mark" on it, and gave a new people their image (God's image, ya know). Maybe the Creationists and the Evolutionists both were right - God (or ETs) did tinker with the evoluting ancient people of earth to make them more like them, and left the "created" new race to evolute further. Keep on asking questions - wherever they may lead you to, and don't be afraid to do your research even if they may seem gay to you and truly different from what is being conventionally taught in public and religious schools. :) Gay is good, too!
 
I can't wait to buy that too. I want to see it. My ex-girlfriend recorded it from television but lost the tapes. :(
 
Hmm....Steven Speilberg has always had the wonderful knack in creating movies and keeping us riveted to any he has made...made us think and really think! :P
It certainly got my curiousity piqued and would like to get a hold of that DVD and have a look for myself.

No, it's not a documentary. It's actually a super-long movie using information collected on the past related to UFOs and aliens.

I used to like Spielberg's movies, but not anymore. I think he has totally lost it now. I could get it when he did most of his movies, but he totally lost me with "AI". And, he hasn't had me since. I won't say I'm totally done with a Spielberg movie, but pretty close. IMHO, he needs to go back to what made people want to go see his movies in the first place! Because, they were fun! And, he needs to stop trying to make a point with all the silly movies he's done the last couple of years!

Can you please explain why you were lost with A.I. It seem like MOST people didn't understand A.I. fully while I did.

Nobody knows. The history goes way beyond than we can even explore due to our limited technologies, and knowledge.
 
By the way, Steven Spielberg didn't really have much to do with this Taken mini-series. He helped fund and set up the project, and his name is like a brand name.

"Steven Spielberg Presents", that's what you tend to see on some of movies that he was involved with, but didn't either write or direct it. He just helped them with the movies.

He helped people make the movies like The Goonies, Gremlins, Dad, Back to the Future, An American Tail, and many more.

But this mini-series is pretty awesome though.

I didn't see the point of the movie, that's all. I understood the point, but I guess I asked myself "Why was this movie made?." I just didn't like it. And, I haven't really like anything Spielberg has done since. He seems to have gone on some kind of tangent, to which, I don't see the point of.

That's understandable. I understood the movie. Some of my friends didn't understand the movie. Just because of one movie doesn't mean you should hate the rest of them. Every producer and director has their ups and downs. If you thought it was a bad movie, it was probably his "down" movie at that time. I still think he's a good guy.

Can you please explain what happened in the last 30 minutes of the movie?

I just want to make sure you understood what was going on in the last 30 minutes, most people didn't.
