Hello everyone, it's me CODAchild.

I am sorry for having been away so long. There was so much to do with Tiger's adoption, but, it didn't happen, because all the paperwork work hadn't gone through yet, we were very disappointed, so now it's rescheduled for March 9th. It hit us both pretty hard, because we were hoping to have our new son by Christmas.
Then, I found out my dad will be having open heart surgery after New Year's, he goes back to the heart specialist on Jan 17th. He has a closed valve in the aorta, so when he goes back to the doctor, he will give his decision to have the surgery, and because my dad is 88 years old, he is not a normal 88 year old man. He is healthy, strong and vigorous and his success rate is 97 percent. He has so much in his favor right.
Then doing so much Christmas Shopping and getting ready for Christmas, there just wasn't much time. It was a great Christmas, and even though we weren't able to adopt Tiger, we still have something to look forward to.
So, please accept my apologies for not being around on Alldeaf, but, please please be assured, I have missed you all so much, and I deeply missed talking to you all, and reading all your postings. You were all in my thoughts everyday.
I am so glad to be back and I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and now look forward to a great New Year of 2006.

Deepest sorrow that things didnt go well as you expect.. I know its hard.. but hang in there.. soon things will be over.. with your adopting son... you are still in my prayer...

About your dad... thats hardest thing that family going through but have faith that Lord will sent angels to hover around him while he have surgery..

Well well well, I didnt notice that you were gone so long. But anyway Welcome back and enjoy while you can.

I am sorry that you didnt have your adopted son. I would be devasted *sp* too if I didnt have a child. But luckly I had my son with me in the morning then off to his Dad's house. I missed him already but he will be home tmw. I cant wait.

I am sorry about your Dad. I know what is like to have an open heart surgery been there and done that twice!!! It not fun. But I will be praying and keep him in my thought for you and your family. :hug:

So tell us what you got for xmas even thou you didnt have your adopted son. :wave:

Its so good to see you back here. I've been pretty down about AD lately. It is definetely not the same without you. I'm sorry to hear the adoption did not go as expected, and to hear about your father's surgery. Both, Tiger and you father, will be in my prayers. I hope you can find some time to just calm down and relax. You deserve it more than anyone else. I await the day I see you back here regularly, authoring uplifting, inspirational, and positive posts as you ever have before. Until then, take care of yourself. God bless. :ily:

Wow, you do have a full plate! Especially at this time of year.

I will pray that everything goes well for your son's adoption, and for your dad's surgery.

I know that postponing the adoption was very disappointing, and you're all right, God is watching over us, and rescheduled the adoption for March 9th. WE are both looking forward to that and counting the days. :thumb:
As for my dad, thank you all so much for your prayers, with that, I know that my father will have a very successful surgery with all of you on his side with your prayers. He will go back to the doctor's on January 17th to give him his decision about the surgery, and then they will scheduled his surgery.
After reading all your messages, I realize now how much I have missed you all, and how sweet, kind and wonderful you all have been. You all touched my heart with your understanding, because each of you have been through a crisis yourselves and know how to lend a hand of support, which I am truly grateful for :hug: :hug:
I hope and pray that you all have a happy and wonderful New Year, and that 2006 wil bring you much joy, happiness, health and peace.

I can understand you've been going thru some hard times during the holiday but knowing the kind of person you truly are, I feel really bad for you, but I do know things will get better for you and your family....

Please give little Tiger a hug for me, and let us know how it goes in March...

Oh no.. Hopefully, his heart surgery will go very well. My Dad will be 74 in April. So far, he is very good shape and healthy. Important, we keep our eyes on our Dads.

Welcome back !! Your family is more priority than this Deaf Form. ;)

:) I was so shocked to see you back today, but I am so glad that you are back!!! I know you have been gone for a long time and we missed you, but don't worry your family are very important than AD forum :)

I know we have been talking through emails and you tell me about everything, but you seem like you are very strong person that you have been going through. I am really sorry to hear about your father, but since you said he is strong then he will be strong to get through it. I will pray for you and your family to get through it.

I will looking forward to hear from you if there is any news about it. Whenever you feel like to come back to AD, just come back because you are still welcome to this AD :)
