i feel that way sometimes Phat...but that's just life...some ppl can be assholes and you just have to used to it but you can always ignore them since you are deaf lol :lol:

Its Audist not deafist. (discriminate aganist the status of auditory). Deafist doesnt really make any sense.
 
deafist means a few of things.

Let me translate for you: this is the argument that claims deaf people are not really people who tragically can't hear, but in fact are an identity group -- like ``Chinese-Australian'', or ``gay'', or ``people of colour'' -- with their own culture.

I consider myself to be an deafist instead of saying "I'm Irish" or "Native american"

Because I rather to say "I'm Deaf!" Got it ? :o

Deafist might apply for hearing who's aganist deaf people :o
