Shower!

Heheheh! Yeah, whenever I am ready to jump into shower, I ALWAYS make sure NO one is going to use the toilet or wash dishes or clothes until I've FINISHED in the shower! :P

Or else, there'll be hell to pay! :naughty:

Hahaha... I wish! From what I hear, the pipes are lined up in a special pattern so that several floors get their equal share of hot water. However, some of the dorms at the end may end up getting warm instead of hot water. The water line starts at Ellingson dorm and splits a smaller line through Peterson and Bell, while the regular line continues through Gibson then to Sol Heuman. It continues through Nathaniel Rochester and on to Grace Watson. After Grace Watson are the smaller dorms, where the water is now warm instead of hot. I guess that you would need to get up early if you want your hot shower in those smaller dorms! :dunno:

I WISH! I don't have a bloody bath at home. :( I live in a granny flat (similar to a mobile home) and only has a SHOWER. No bath! Boo hoo...if I wanted a bath, I'd have to toddle over to my parents in laws' home which is 25 feet in front of us.
I live with hubby in the granny flat in the backyard of parents' home. (backyard's pretty big)
 
Each dorm should have it's own water heater. That is how it works here at URI.
 
I gotta agree with wot ppl commenting about hot water interference in the showers.

I hate it when Im in the shower and the wife goes to fix up her stuff and turns on faucet *run outa shower like scalded cat*

that's pretty ouch when the hot water spikes up in the shower!
 
hot? i thought it turns cold...

Depending on the back over-pressure of the pipes that would happen when somebody flush toilet or turn on sink when another person is taking shower. (Im no plumber but my brother was one )
 
I am so looking forward to living in the dorms of TA, I get my own single room with a bath/shower.. Yes! I hate sharing bathtub with other person.. Never know what has been there..

yeah that sucks.. when i lived in my old house in Richfield (MN) we had the same prob, cept the water would go cold. Here, I asked Bill if i could shower and do my laundry at the same time and he said yeah. So I hopped into the shower and it was fine. Do take consideration of the fact I like hot showers. (Dammit that's Rob's faut. =X ha) However, i love the cold - weather that is. Ohh idea for thread...

There has been times back at home from college whenever i use the shower, someone always has to use the bathroom and brrrrrrrrrrr makes the water run cold! I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT..
