That's really kind. The best part is that the people who received don't have to be embarrassed my their need. The giver must feel great.

Our local news reported several "secret Santa" layaway payoffs here, too.
 
Our local paper has about 3 of these stories for the South Florida area today. Seems to be happening here and there all over. I think it's great that some people are able to do this.
 
That epic is happening in other states, including in where I live here in Iowa!

Yes, it is nice. I know a couple people who did this recently and I am sure they will encourage others to do the same. :)
 
We just had an instance of 2 church members wanting to do something special and giving $15,000 to a local KMart for layaway's.
 
This happen at the K Mart in my city. A man that just became a grandfather was so happy for having a grandchild that paid $500 for 3 famliies layaway. He said he felt very blessed and lucky .
