I come from a small (Hi, our language has 200,000 fluent speakers on earth) christian community in Iraq... that is old and traditional and set in it's ways.

I never found my answers there, as much as I was expected to.

I now identify as muslim- no, I'm not traditional in most uses of the word, but I pray five times and I try to live a decent life, and that's the best we can do. Islam, and it's take on the nature of G-d and religion, is one that simply fits with me.

Who cares? we are dead...
Every one has an eternal body that will be resurrected and then either enjoy glorious eternity with God in Heaven, or suffer burning eternity with Satan in Hell. The resurrected body will feel everything.

Revelation 20
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

John 5
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

So God doesn't care if we have our body to be cremented or become a food for critters ?

It doesn't matter as far as what your final destination will be.

I used to be christian too, but right now I don't believe in any religion I'm atheist now. I only believe in our own instinct for right and wrong and when we die we just rot in ground nothing special.

Of course I do believe in my own instinct, people do too! ;)

What is "The Torah" ?

Torah means "Law"
The Torah is the first part of the Hebrew scripture also known as the Tanak ,
which is made up of three parts. The Tanak (Torah, Nev'ium, Ketuv'im) is what Christians call the Old Testament.

I would like to share my story bit.

Many people, I know doesn't pay attention or don't interesting to know about God or negative about God.... were about go die soon. They saw something beautiful light and then sleep happily.

My hubby's Grandma (MIL's mother) is a pride person and have no interesting about God. She always laugh about God when someone mentioned God to her...

Until she was incurable illness (cancer) - was going to die... and want to die in the house where she was born and raised (my MIL got that house from her Grandfather (my hubby's great-Grandpa) for take care of him for years). MIL took care of her for few weeks in her house until the doctor came and examined her and confirmed that she will die within few hours. My MIL prepared for it and gave her loving... suddenly Grandma look something and said with smile "Yes I come to you... yes, I come to you... " and sleep peaceful happily.

For many years I know those symbol like this but never ONCE heard the word something about "fire" and see/heard that people died miserable or scary look.

My MIL died happily and peaceful.

Sorry, I don't beleive in hell. I guess the some religion beleivers scared the people about hell and make them to follow their belief.

FYI ... Some has cremated then into urn then bury in cemetery.

Yes, it's people's decision for want to bury their urn or place their urn in their house or sprinkle the ashes to everywhere like garden, sea, etc. Here in Germany - sprinkle the ashes to everywhere is forbidden but we must decide which we should bury urn in the graveyard or place urn in church hall.

I'm curious; how would the authorities know if someone sprinkled the ashes in the woods, or in a garden, or on the ocean, etc.?

No one actually experiences hell until after they die, so there are no dead relatives or friends who can report their experiences to us. Even "near death" is not the same as actually dead. So the experiences of people near death are not proof of anything.
